King of All Cars Reviews (1)

Review: I brought an 1995 Acura Integra GSR from this dealer on May 18, 2013. It is now June 18, 2013 and I still have not received license plates or title for the vehicle. I called the dealership and they say that they cannot find the title. They will not return my phone calls after they say that they will call me back in a few hours. I call and keep getting the runaround. We cannot drive the car because the inspection sticker is 2 months old and the temporary tags have expired. I'm paying insurance on a vehicle that we cannot drive.Desired Settlement: If they cannot produce a legit title I will like a refund of my money. Apparently something is fishy with the title if no one knows where it is and they won't return my phone calls.

Mr. [redacted] had an agreement with us that the motor vehicle work was not going to be done till he paid off the remainder of his balance. He did not do that till 6/1/2013. The title was flipped into the dealers name prior to that and awaiting his payment. The title did disappear from his folder and it is our belief that the new trainee lost it or gave it to Mr. [redacted] when he paid it off. Nonetheless, we had tried proir to the expiration of the temp tag to get a replacement title but the NJMVC can not do a repalcement for 30 days. As a matter of fact today is the day that car's motor vehicle work can go back to motor vehicle for processing again. BUT understand this it first has to be processed into our name (the dealer) then we have to go back and process it into his name. This may take 4-7 days depending how backed up motor vehicle is.Furthermore, if Mr. [redacted] wanted to return the car he should have said so. We MIGHT just entertain the idea, if this is done prior to his motor vehicle work being completed and if the car is in the same condition as it was when sold to him but it would have to include his mileage and use of the car taken into concideration as well. I will try to talk to him about this.We have called several times but he does not answer or return the calls emmediatly. I can only guess he is busy at the time. Likewise, we must have been busy at the time when he was calling us. He shouldnt assume anything because when you AS-U-ME you make a AS out of U an ME. At any time we could have shown him all the motor vehicle proof as well.Mr. [redacted] was informed and in the loop all along and I take great offence to his complaint when he was not only NEVER without driving privilages AT ALL this whole time what so ever. Mr. [redacted] Jr and Sr were both treated with the highest customer service and respect and kindness. Kindest regards,[redacted]

Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I still have not received my plates or title 7/4/2013. The title was never given to me at the time of the sale. They do not try to reach me. I have to keep calling them and get no response. If you call the consumer you should leave a message if you are a business. They never had that title. I will be contacting my lawyer to handle this situation. I will also be contacting Consumer Fraud Division. Does not make any sense why I haven't received my title and plates in over a month. It is illegal to sell a car in NJ if you do not have the title. I know my rights.Regards,[redacted]

Response:

First of all this man did not purchase the car from us in the first place. So why is he allowed to make a complain? This car was purchased by a family member.Mr. [redacted] should be grateful. He got to leave with the car the same day he came in with out any finance charges of $499 of which we normally charge to borrow money from us Mr. Belto had all of the money to buy the car we would have been aware that much sooner because we do our motor vehical work right away, but because of the procrastination on our part wait for the remaining balance due this accident would have been caught or not even done. Just like the saying goes, "No good deed goes unpunished.".Didn't Mr [redacted] say he wanted his money back for the car will we offered that and now he doesn't want that? All this man wants to do is make trouble like I said to begin with. He has not gone one single day without being legal and has been furnished with a plate that is good till the end of the month. So what is his problem? We told him the title was lost. We mentioned it could not be replaced till 30 days have passed till July 2nd (not our law but the states) So another words 30 prior on June 2nd we did our part and flipped it into our name to flip it into Mr. [redacted]'s [redacted] but where was his payment? Didn't come till the latter part of the month. Accidents happen and that is all this was and is. Mr. [redacted], we have called the number on file for you and left messages, so why haven't you returned my call? Do you just write this stuff because you think it makes for good reading? [redacted] had told you what needs to be done on our side with NJDMV and there was no need for contact until your plates come in or unless we need or needed information from you. When reading you foolish complain we reached out and you to return the car and you never responded. My guess is since you did not respond you don't want the refund you were asking for? Stop playing games. As a follow up, the duplicate title was submitted and returned on Friday by NJMVC and now has to be put into the customer's name on Monday and dropped off on Tuesday and picked up after they contact us that is is completed. We will call you when they come in.

I am rejecting this response because: I never called anyone at this business out of their name. I never attempted to disrespect anyone at this business. I had to contact them about the temp plate being expired the first time. We could not drive the car for 2 days. This business never reached out to me about a refund. This business told me the plates would be in the first week of July 2013. We are now in the second week of July 2013. They lied in their first response that MAYBE they gave me the title when I brought the car. They did not. I brought the car for my son. Its in my name and my insurance...so its my car technically. By the end of this week if I do not have the title I will seek legal action. This business called me on July 2nd, 2013 and left me a message. I called them right back and [redacted] acted like he didn't even know the lady there called me. Once I stated my name he said we will call you back. Never heard from him. This business is unprofessional. Excuses and lies one after the other!Regards,[redacted]
