weeks by this point. He failed to communicate with me about the fact that after his "work" my car was inoperable. My car was towed to a second shop, on that day, specializing in transmissions. The owner of the transmission garage was not able to get my car to "run" and therefore unable to diagnose the problem. By Monday November 30, 2015 I had the vehicle towed to a Volvo dealer, (now the 3rd repair place), with the full capacity to diagnose the issues with the vehicle. By Wednesday, November 3, 2015 I was told, 'we are not going to fix your car; there is strong evidence that the original work done by the first shop caused damage that if worked on will exceed the value of the vehicle'. I advocated strongly that this last shop work with me in conveying this information to my insurance company. As of today, December 2, 2015 I am without a vehicle due to King of King's failure to provide the service that they were hired to do. King of King's auto not only failed to fix my car, but may have cause damage that did not exist before I authorized them to fix my car.

Review: This automotive repair had 30 days to repair my car because of hail damage/ tension pulley. My vehicle still has dents, the knob in my car for the air conditioner is missing a piece that goes around it, there is also the stand that holds up the hood is missing and the tension pulley was not mounted in correctly and because of that it caused my serpentine belt to break and me to be without my car for two weeks. When I voiced my concerns to him about fixing the issues, he agreed but continued to say he would pick up my car without actually following through. I feel my car was poorly repaired and was not worth the money I paid for it.Desired Settlement: I feel like he should pay for my car to be repaired by someone who knows what they are doing. Or I should be refunded because since I have had my car back I have been without my car because of the poor work that he has done.

Review: King of Kings Auto Repair has neglected to communicate effectively about the actual damages, cost, and timeframe for the replacement of my transmission. The shop owner, Kevin S[redacted] was paid in full with the check from my insurance company on October 20, 2015. Five weeks after the car was towed and two and a half weeks since receiving the part and full payment my car is parked outside of the shop, on a side street waiting for transmission fluid. After reading the warranty from LKQ, the company I purchased the transmission from, new fluids should have been replaced prior to the installation of the new/used transmission. Additionally, Mr. S[redacted] sent me a picture via text of one of my brakes indicating that that was the "issue". Days later when he sent a picture of both transmissions, he became irate when I questioned him about the initial picture. I never got clarification for the discrepancy in part pictures. I have reason to believe he is trying not to fix the actual transmission. My calls and texts frequently go unanswered. When The shop owner does respond he assures me of wanting to return my vehicle, yet he refuses to put the necessary fluid into the vehicle. I have since taken on the responsibility of ordering the fluid myself, which needs to be picked up from Advance Auto. I need Mr. S[redacted] to finish the job and return my vehicle to me fully repaired.Desired Settlement: would like my Volvo XC70 returned to me fully repaired as described in the diagnostic paper work from the Insurance Company. I would like Mr. Kevin S[redacted] held liable for any of the following that could have occurred while my vehicle was in his care: lost keys, lost electric gate opener, and any damage to my vehicle that resulted from being on the street.
