In response to the complaint filed by *** *** ***, we are sorry that Mrs*** is experiencing problems with her ***Mrs*** had not brought the *** in for maintenance since purchasing the vehicle in When it came in for a brake concern in (the first time the
vehicle was brought back in to us), we informed her at that time that she needed front and rear rotors due to extreme rustThe question of whether or not it is safe to drive would obviously be difficult to answer due to the variables involved such as how long, how far, etcShe returned a month later and miles and the problem was a result of the rustThe fingers that hold the pads in place had broken off due to the rust causing the pad to dislodgeShe was not charged for this brake jobApproximately year later the vehicle was brought in for a check engine light issueWe had not seen the vehicle since the brake job nor have we performed any maintenance on the vehicle since it was purchasedThe check engine light was caused by a fuel sending unit which was addressedAproximately weeks later the light came back on due to an evap leak which was unrelated to the fuel sending unit issueIn closing, since the vehicle either was not being maintained or the maintenance was being performed by someone else, we cannot bear responsibility for maintenance related issues

Regarding complaint ID #[redacted], We are sorry that [redacted] is experiencing issues with her Sentra. The Sentra's misfiring was caused by a burnt coil on cylinder #1 as indicated in [redacted]'s complaint. This failure caused excess fuel to enter the catalytic converter which can deteriorate the converter....

This damage will not be immediately known which is why no code will show on the diagnostics right away. To help address this issue, we are willing to offer [redacted] a new converter installed for a total of $1,760 which is about half of the original quote.

I have attached the paperwork proving the work needed to the truck here in Virginia. I am still trying to open boxes and trying  I find the paperwork from Hawaii dealership. They should be able to provide paperwork as they are the ones that did the work and have already admitted to servicing the vehicle twice in a month at the end of 2014. If I can find the paperwork I will attach it in a future email if not I would like them to provide for your review. Thanks[redacted]

Revdex.com:

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
In the reply, they state Mr. [redacted] as the consumer.  I am not Mr. [redacted].  I am Mr. [redacted].  I told the dealership and [redacted], that due to dispute with my employer, they provided false information.  I was employed through the date of the loan on 7/24/2015.  My employer had reduced hours and UI was supplementing my income.  I had filed a partial claim for UI, but was still employed, and hours were to resume to normal September.  Attached is an official document provided to UI from the employer.  It is dated 7/10/15 and shows that I was employed, was to resume normal hours September, and that I would receive UI until that date.  This does not mean I was not employed, it was a temporary reduction in hours.  I further provided proof of UI income, and they can validate that I was employed through 7/24/15 by contacting the DOL UI office.  Additionally, after that date, I still have provable income.  The dealership and bank is refusing to validate my claims, only going off what they were told instead of facts.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Tell us why here...Ms. [redacted] was origin[redacted] approved at Santander at an annual percentage rate of 20%. We continued to work on the loan and got a lower rate through [redacted] Financial. The Smart Payment Program she signed up for is designed to pay of the loan earlier by making bi-monthly payments. When...

the loan switched to [redacted], this program was cancelled and the funds that were withdrawn were credited back to her account. Ms. [redacted] needs to understand that the interest that is charged on all car loans are an annual percentage rate which is clearly indicated on the contract, There is no "one time interest charge" that she refers to. The $47k will be the entire cost of the vehicle assuming all the payments are made on time and the loan is carried to full term. This loan can be paid off or refinanced at anytime with no penalty. Ms. [redacted] can go to her own financial institution and refinance this at a lower rate if she can secure that. The rate we got for her is the best rate we were able to get. We continued to work the loan after she signed to try and get her a lower rate, and we succeeded. If Ms. [redacted] wwould like to come in, we will be happy to go over the terms with her again to answer any questions she may have.
