My 92 year old father and I purchased a new Rheem air conditioner in 2014 from Kingdom Air Connditioning; Six months after purchasing unit, it started having problems. Unit not cooling and leaking water over the house. Made a service call and was told line was clogged. Paid $55 but the problem still was not solved. Made another service call; two non-English speaking repairmen showed up four days later. Bedroom carpet soaked and unit not cooling home. (This is a brand new unit). Called Rheem's home office in Ft. Smith, Arkansas because we could not get good customer service from the local company and could not communicate with the repairmen). Verified with Arkansas office that unit was registered and covered by a conditional 10 year warranty but Arkansas Office would not contact Kingdom Air owner nor give us a hint as to how to get the unit serviced/repaired. Kingdom Air would not take our phone calls. Waited until unit was over one year old, found a Rheem repairman who came out to determine why this 2014 unit was not cooling and why was it leaking. (Unit was running like it had a compressor problem and our house felt like only the fan was running), Fourteen month after purchasing a new Rheem unit and $350 later, finally have an air conditioner that is working. No thanks to the seller; this has been a 14 month nightmare and the worst consumer service I have ever experienced.
