I am rejecting this response because: The intial quote for repairs of the brake system, replacement of the water pump and 4 spark plugs was $1095.00.
It was not until the owner called to tell me that my vehicle was almost completed, but that they were waiting for the correct thermostat and housing that they had incorrectly ordered that she made me aware of the $2000 bill.
When I questioned how the bill went from $1000 to $2000 a satisfactory explanation was never provided.  When I went to pick up the vehicle I again asked why the bill had jumped by $1000 and again was never given a satisfactory explanation.
The initial quote for repair of the vehicle was inclusive of brakes, water pump replacement and spark plugs and at no time was any authorization given to approve any funds beyond the initial quote of $1095.  It was at the point that she advised me that it was $2000 that I was not in a position to say no as she had my vehicle, and she left me no other option but to pay the total bill.

An extensive brake job was quoted to D[redacted] for $500. D[redacted] approved an additional $95 to diagnose a water leak. He...

later approved approximately $1000 for further work regarding said water leak. Each time he approved additional work with an additional cost has been captured with time, date, method of communication, to whom he spoke, and regarding details of parts and prices during said conversations, as per BAR Law. Phone records will corroborate these records, and we are happy to share these records with him and the Revdex.com, at any time.
Moonlight Mechanic employees will not work with or for abusive and threatening clients, and therefore notify them very calmly and professionally that the phone conversation will cease if the abuse continues. D[redacted] was warned more than three times during each phone call of these facts, due to my feeling threatened, before each was ceased.
I have made several attempts to rectify this situation with D[redacted], leaving telephone messages that are, to date, still unreturned.

Regards,[redacted] The statements that were said are false, I would like her to send all these false statements that I made to me so I can read them for myself. And we told her right away about the oil leak and she refused to look at it period.

In reviewing the Invoice dated
03.05.2014, Mr. [redacted] received 5 separate diagnoses and services at
no charge, and a free Oil Filter, which in total equals about $207.50
before tax. He also received a $30.00 discount on his...

this is clearly depicted in the attached documents.Mr. [redacted] received from this shop a free
paint job (at the body shop of his choice) on the front portion of
his vehicle, after accusing this shop of cracking the paint on the
Front Air Dam. Said paint job cost this shop $220.00. After said paint job was completed, he called claiming
another portion of his vehicle was damaged by this shop and should
also be painted on our dime. I refused further paint jobs.
Mr. [redacted] was verbally abusive to the
manager and the owner. Mr. [redacted] placed defaming remarks on
customer review websites regarding this shop and its owner. The manager received multiple harassing calls and text messages and told him more than once to stop calling her personal phone. Mr. [redacted] sent the
owner text messages (that have been saved for legal purposes)
defaming her personal character, and with reference to Jesus
Christ sending her to Hell.
We attempted to work with Mr. [redacted]
for several weeks after our services were completed. Now that six
months and an unknown number of miles have passed, Mr. [redacted] is
claiming the Vehicle is leaking Oil again. This shop will not
accommodate requests for refunds of any monies.
