Review: [redacted] on [redacted] pgh, sponsored an event where if you ate at kings restaurant on a designated date, the restaurant would donate 15% of your check to this charity. I patronized the restaurant and upon checkout I notified the cashier, who happened to be the manager, that I was there for the animal shelter event. he acknowledged it and proceeded to ring me out with a military discount instead. I alerted him that not only was I not entitled to a military discount, I did not see any note on my receipt that 15% of my check was going to the shelter. he shrugged me off and said not to worry. I feel this reeks of a manager misappropriating funds and with no 'ear marking' of the purchases made by shelter supporters, there is no credibility that this restaurant is following through with their commitment. furthermore, tossing around a discount that is intended for the hard working self-sacrificing military is abominable.Desired Settlement: since there was no log made of shelter-supporter purchases I would like to see an additional donation made to that shelter for the weekend that the event was happening. I can think of no other way that this restaurant can redeem their shoddy, lackadaisical bookkeeping
