Kind of a sad way to reply; no facts about your work, no Appologies, no information regaurding your defenses of my accusations, just a lot of rambling on and on about things that didn't happen or things you don't want to admit is your fault, by trying to point the finger the other way, oh and verbal insults, really? Although in dealing with CURTS AUTO REPAIR for several months and watch you damage my car(s) time and again with no remorse or accountability I believe your reply is true to form( kind of how you know the track record of the worst horse in a race) (*** is a we didn't do it type of service managerWhat's funny with him is that the 1st time I went into Curts he told me that rhw car has been in there before by the previous owner for an ignition back in January and I asked him if it was covered for the warranty and *** said yes, we'll repair it up to a year and I said great he said it's good to January I said great and thanksSo it's November and last month I told *** the key got suck in the ignition and he told me he wouldn't repair itOh also when I got the oil leak repaired they said Curt screwed in the oil plug crooked and reemed the threads and left that way! Another flat out lie ***, you should check the cars BEFORE they leave Curts! Better idea don't you think? Good thing I have proof for everything, paperwork, witnesses, brake specialists(who can't believe they didn't catch the brake issue from a week prior, they say it was like that for long before Curts looked at it, like I said before, the brake specialists told me that 99.9% of mechanics would have caught it and told us not to drive( I guess That means Curts is in the .01% of mechanics that would have missed it)also true to formNot suprised at this pointExactly, how I've been treated since I've been going to CurtsJust worried for the next unsuspecting people who see the Revdex.com banners these unprofessional and below grade mechanics use to hide behind, to hook people in with their self praising and lack of good ethicsBut now I want monetary compensation for ALL of the expenses that Curts AUTO Repair screw ups have cost us which includes; $brake systemOil leak $285. $tire repair you charged me for and NEVER did ( no patch was ever found! Per mechanic at Firestone) $New Ignition still under warranty to date, you denied to fixed and breached warranty! So $in total damages I'm asking Curts auto repair for , no apology needed now. I thought I was being way more than fair in my 1st complaint now it's time for Curts to get real, I hope this helps!

Curt's Auto Repair 11-30-2015Regarding Complaint ID # ***,In the first response to Mr*** complaint, I attempted to describe and clarify the situationIn this response, I will get right to the pointHe basically has four complaintsIn the order he addressed them, I will respond to them.1) The first complaint was about the ignitionWe did replace the ignition for the previous owner of the vehicleI did tell him that we would honor the warranty for the months or 12,miles on the invoiceHe brought in an invoice from*** where they repaired the ignition after hours one evening when he was in a bindI applied a credit of $to invoice# ***{see attached invoice)which was the full amount that the locksmith charged himSince*** repaired the ignition, it is now their warrantyI attempted to expressto Mr*** that he would need to contact themBy reimbursing the customer for the *** invoicewe went above & beyond our warranty which states that all warranty repairs are to be performed at Curt's Auto Repair(also stated on every invoice).2) The second complaint is about an oil leak from a messed up drain plugThis is the first time I have heard any mention of a messed up or cross-threaded drain plugWe did not perform an oil change on 10•5-because he couldn't afford it& he was only miles overdueHe had gone more than the recommendeddistance for the oil change and did not mention an oil leak until that timeWe had planned to correct the oil leak when the oil change was performed. We only verified the oil level on 10-5-We did not perform an oil change at that timeI do not feel that any warranty Is due in this situation.3) The third complaint is the brakesWe have never performed any front brakerepairs on this vehicle! I would have been willing to work with Mr*** with this repair had he brought it to us as discussedHe made an appointment for 10-20-to allow us to take a look at the noiseI have a digital copy of the message Mr*** left for us at 11:13PM 10-19-cancelling that appointment(! can email It to anyone who wants it)It was at least days afterthe van was at our shop before any brake repair was performedDuring this timehe apparently took an extended road tripI still have not seen any invoice or documentation from himThe van was not making any noise when it left hereIf he drove it that long making that kind of noise, he must take responsibility for the magnitude of repairs required to make his van safe.4) The last complaint was about the tire repairThe tire was patchedI personally walked out and inspected the tire when Mr*** was hereThe reason they probably cannot find a repair on the right rear tire is that we did a rotation at the same timeLook on the right frontWe may be discussing an entirely different tireAgain, I wanted to take a look at itMr*** wants to set all of the warrant proceduresWarranties do not work like he wants them to workYou cannot take your *** to a *** dealership and expect *** to pay for itThey may work with you in a few circumstances, but it will not happen time and againI offered to apply the $he spent of the tire repair to the balance he owes us if he would show me an invoice stating that we did not perform the repair properlyI am now under the opinion that Mr*** is talking about a different tire than the one we repairedI am still willing to apply that credit if he is willing to show documentation stating we did something wrongIf that Is unreasonable, please tell me what reasonable is.Curt's Auto Repair has made every reasonable attempt to service Mr***I trust that the people at the Revdex.com are fair and will help us work out a reasonable resolutionI have NO confidence that Mr*** Is willing to come to a reasonable agreementHe has continued to complain and still has not provided any documentation nor followed through with the appointments made to look at his car and address his concernsWe have worked for him on six different occasions, after which he seemed to be very satisfiedNow that he has a concern, Mr*** is complaining about several months worth of workIf he truly has been as disatisfied with the repairs as long of a time as he has expressed, he would not have kept coming backHis first requested settlement that we write off the $he agreed to pay was crazyHis second requested settlement of $is totally ludicrous and further underscores our understanding that he unreasonableWe are trusting the Revdex.com to help us reach a fair resolutionThank you for your time and consideration in this matter.Sincerely, *** ***Curt's Auto Repair Manager

Curt's Auto Repair  Monday, November 16, 2015To whom It may concern,In response to the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] regarding repairs periormed at our shop, there is no intention to refund the $237.79 nor to write a letter of apology. There are multiple misrepresentations in the...

complaint filed, The first is regarding the oil leaks. When we performed the oil change in May 2015, he did have to come back because the engine oil pan drain plug was not sealing, The next oil change in August 2015 he did not have to, When he returned in October, he wanted us to fix a slight leak at the drain plug. It was not a significant leak, and he was overdue for an oil change, Itold him at that time, when he could afford the oil change, we would replace the drain plug or drain plug gasket at no additional charge. He could not pay for the brakes that were into metal at that time, We made payment arrangements with him as an endeavour to keep him on the road safely because the [redacted] is his work vehicle that he is always pulling a trailer with. See attached, signed invoice with payment agreement on it. We had worked with Mr. [redacted] several times before and had even allowed him to make payment arrangements on one other occasion, Never during any of this was there a hostile conversation. There was never any aggravation about us telling him that he needed to pay for the service that was due to correct the drain plug leak, The second misrepresentation is that we offered no solution on the rubbing noise or the tire leak on his [redacted] Town & Country, Regarding the tire leak, he wanted to take it to a tire shop near his house, I told Mr. [redacted] that if they found that the leak was related to poor workmanship on our patch repair, I would take the twenty dollars that he paid for the patch off of what he owed us, 1 still have seen no documentation. If he picked up another nail in the tire. I'm not paying for that. If our patch did not take, 1 will still apply a $19.95 credit towards the balance due. Regarding the rubbing noise. I told him that he needed to get the car back to us so that we could correct the concern if it was anything related to the repairs performed. He told me that it was too inconvenient. I then let him know that he needed to get it looked at, even if another shop looked at it. If he was to get warranty or wanted any discounted repairs, or felt that we owed him something, he was to bring the car back to us. He made an appointment but later cancelled it. He did not take heed to my recommendation and apparently caused himself some grief. The van was not making a rubbing noise when at our shop. If a caliper bound up, the drive from Phoenix toAnaheim and back is definitely long enough to totally destroy a marginal set of brake pads, Again I still have not seen any documentation that indicates we did anything wrong. If he expects us to trust him after he tries to manipulate us and the situation, he is crazy, He disregarded our advice and put his family in danger. The dates that Mr. [redacted] gave were also false. I was at my Grandmother's funeral & arrived back in town on October 27, 2015 and attempted to contact him at that time. The last time he called here was on October 26th. He did leave a message cancelling the appointment prior to that. We recorded the message and have a copy of that if anyone wants verification. Since then I have made another attempt to contact him. Both of those times, he did not answer nor did he return my call. Also the third misrepresentation is that any of the things mentioned are even the real falling out between Mr. [redacted] and Curt's Auto Repair. This is what happened at the point that our business relationship turned bad. He purchased the [redacted] from a customer of ours. We had replaced an ignition lock cylinder for the previous owner. A few months into ownership of the vehicle, he called one afternoon and said that his Ignition was binding. I was going to honour our warranty even though the transaction was not in his name. He informed me that he couldn't get the car to our shop because of his tight work schedule and that he needed the car for work. I then went the extra mile and told him to call a locksmith and have the problem corrected and I would give him shop credit for the cost of the locksmith repair. He did and he received a $150.00 credit which he spent in August 2015. Fast forward to mid-October (after all of the complaints listed in the letter). Mr. [redacted] called us here at Curt's Auto Repair and told me that his ignition was binding up again and he wanted it warrantied. I let him know that he would need to call the locksmith that repaired the ignition. He did not think that we were reasonable at that point to ask that the last guy that repaired the ignition to be the one to warranty it. At this point Mr. [redacted] became unreasonable and obstinate. The bottom line is that we have gone the extra mile to servica Mr. [redacted]. We spent more money to send a locksmith out to repair the lock cylinder than we made on the repair. We have extended credit to him on two different occasions. Also, we have performed repairs at discounted prices to try to keep him happy. We strive to take care of our customers. If that isn't good enough, we are willing to part ways after he fulfills his end of the agreement and pays his bellance in full. We are also willing to accept an apology letter from Mr. [redacted] for allowing his actions to resemble those of a donkey.Sincerely, [redacted]Curt's Auto Repair Manager
