Review: On Monday 7/21/14, on or before 9 a.m., I dropped off a new dress that I wished to have specific alterations completed. I explained that I was leaving for vacation on Friday 7/25/14 in the early morning and needed the dress for a function I would be attending on Saturday 7/26/14. She said that she could have the dress altered and completed by Thursday 7/24/14 in the afternoon. Around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday 7/23/14, a man contacted me from King Dry Cleaners and said, "Dress not ready. Need two more week." (not weeks, "week"). Needless to say, I am very upset and angry as the cleaners have had my dress for 3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS and if they were unaware to complete the work as agreed upon and in which I had a pick up receipt indicatin the dress would be ready by tomorrow, then they should have contacted me on the same day that I dropped it so that I had adequate time to locate another cleaner that could perform desired alterations. Additionally, when the woman returned my dress, strung haphazardly around a wire hanger, the new fabric, in which I paid $38.00 for, was torn. When I pointed it out to her, she simply stared at me as if I had two heads or was speaking a foreign language. "Sorry" was her one worded response.Desired Settlement: I expect my dress to be altered, as promised and as provided in writing, by tomorrow Thursday 7/24/14. I expect them to repair the damage to the new fabric which could have only happened while in their care as it was brand new and immediately upon purchasing, was delivered to their facility for alterations.
