King Limousine did not offer the services or satisfy the requirements per agreement between the owner and myself when I placed the order.I ordered a stretch limo, through the owner of King Limousine, Jerry, on 16 Oct. I called around comparing prices for two days, and called Jerry on 14 Oct, before making a final decision, after he called me back, to go with his company. Please note, Jerry called me back on 14 Oct, to sell me on his business. He has not called me since, even upon my disappointment and three requests. The service was for my parents for their 44th wedding anniversary, a one-time occasion, in which I was assured my parents would be treated special, and taken very good care of. The agreement, per telephone conversation and later followed up in email was as follows: I paid $200 for the limo to pick up my parents on 26 Oct at 4:15 pm; the driver was to come to the door, pick up their luggage, and assist them into the car. There was to be special treatment in honor of my parents anniversary, such as balloons and other special treatment, catering to this special occasion. There was to be specifically special gospel music, again, catering to my parents liking; there was to be a special movie played during their ride; there were to be special drinks and snacks offered, catering to my parents liking. I took the time to discuss over the phone, and spell out in email specifics, per request of owner, Jerry, of what it is that my parents would enjoy. I spelled out, again, on the phone and in email, specifics on music, movies, and snacks/beverages. Lastly, they were to be driven around, to enjoy the limo ride, for an extended period of time, eventhough the hotel was a 10 minute drive. He even offered to have the driver assist me with taking pictures or video for me in order that I may capture something that I do not get to do for my parents on a daily basis. Jerry, again, assured me that they would have time in the car to enjoy the ride. I did not agree to pay $200 for a simple pickup/dropoff. The reason I elected to go with Jerry and his company is because of what he promised me for the price, as I told him that I compared other companies' prices to his, and he told me why they charge less than him. He told me it was because of all of the special things that they offer: balloons, special treatment, preferred drinks/snacks, music, etc. He assured me that they would take good care of my parents. What actually took place, was very different and even more disappointing. The driver showed at 4:05 pm; so he was early. He assisted my parents at the door with their bags and helped them into the car. They departed at 4:10pm. My parents called me from their hotel room, meaning they arrived at the hotel, checked in, paid, and went to their room, at 4:32pm. While they had drink/snack items, per my request, in the car; my mother indicated they were not in the limo long enough to take advantage of the items in there to drink and eat; nor did they know the items were for them and that they could take with them. There were no balloons, or any other special treatment done for my parents in honor of their special day as I was promised. There was no gospel music, but instead, only secular music which my parents do not listen to nor are they comfortable with. There was no movie played, which I thought was outrageous considering this was something again, offered by the owner. My parents were in this limo for 10-12 minutes, and that is not what I paid for, nor what I was promised. I was able to take a few pictures and a short video, as I had no help with that, as I was promised. The whole thing, while it went okay, the driver was pleasant, and got my parents to their destination, for me was very disappointing. I called Jerry at 5:30 on 26 Oct to let him know of my disappointment, and he told me he would speak to the driver and call me right back. He did not. On 27 Oct, I emailed him at 7pm, expressing my disappointment, again, and requested an explanation. He replied I, the customer should call, and he did not want to hear my disappointment. Desired SettlementI requested from the business owner already, and was not successful; therefore, I am seeking assistance this way. 1) request a formal written apology for my parents in the lack of special treatment received on their special day; 2) request an explanation of what happened and why the things that were supposed to be honored were not as mentioned over the phone, in multiple emails, and this complaint; 3) request a partial refund for lack of services received.Business Response I contact this per on by phone as well as via email with no response,yet we will give customer a $60 refund which everything was put inside Limousine such as cashshew nuts,sodas,bottle water and juice.The only this was missing was two gallons and I'm the one to blame for that because it was pouring down raining that down and traffic was swapped,so it was choose to get to the customer on time instead of the balloons.Truly apologize for them,yet KIng Limousine laid out a great service over all for her parents.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)As I mentioned in my initial complaint, I have received not one phone call (my phone does record all calls, missed and received), nor have I received an email explaining what happened or offering a refund or an apology. Please note I have every email transferred between myself and the agency in question. I also do not appreciate the lack of time and effort in the response as there are numerous errors and no mention of the fact that they neglected to do all of the things mentioned in my complaint: that includes pictures, music, snacks and beverages with an extended ride, balloons and décor specific to an anniversary. While snacks and beverages were in the limo, it was not clear that they were for my parents; they did not take part in them because of that and the fact that the ride was only 10 minutes, when they were supposed to be riding beyond the time allotted to get to the location and enjoying movies and gospel music! I did not agree to pay $200 for a mere pick up and drop off as I could have paid less for this same treatment with another agency. This owner assured me of all of the things they do to go above and beyond, and those things were not done. He needs to take ownership of that, but instead, I am having to go through this to be heard. Everything that was promised was not provided, and I have video and pictures showing the weather as it was barely drizzling outside, and not "pouring down rain" as the person who responded stated! I would not be outside with a camera phone in my hand if it was pouring down raining outside, and since when can you not get balloons, decorate, show someone a good time, play the music you were supposed to play, show the movies you were supposed to show, or drive longer than 10 minutes in the rain! I paid $200 for the services that I agreed to, and at minimum, I would expect half of that in return! Final Business Response I stated to customer what I would give,and thats simply as that!!!
