It is not a policy of Kings Mazda to require SSN's from customers to set up a file on themIt is necessary when a customer wishes to purchase a vehicle to help in securing the funds to complete the transactionOnly after a credit application is filled and signed, giving us authorization, do we run a credit checkI can assure you that we had no intent on hurting the chances of another loan when we ran Mr [redacted] 's credit but we were just trying to help him purchase the vehicle that he negotiated an agreed upon price and wanted to close the deal [redacted] did tell us that he had money coming in days and that he wanted us to hold the truckWe did explain that we would need to verify his credit before we could hold the truckAt that point [redacted] completed the credit applicationWe did tell him that we would not process the paperwork with a bank at this time but use the results to be able to help him hold the truck [redacted] was not present in the showroom at this time.I agree that our communication with [redacted] and [redacted] could have been better and we do continually work on thatAgain, we do apologize for the the misunderstanding and lack of communication and the consequences that this may have caused and we will in the future make sure that we explain completely what the process is [redacted] General Manager Kings Mazda

I do apologize for our lack of communication regarding the cancellation of your Service ContractI did discover that on 11/24/we actually did process the cancellation and it was denied because of an outstanding claim that had not been processedIt is a policy of the Service Contract Company not to cancel a policy with a open claim because of the possibility of addition work that might be needed to complete the repairIf the contract was canceled there would be no way to pay for additional work needed on the open claimWe did process again in early December and the cancellation was turned down again because of an open claimIn our phone discussion I fully agreed with you that we should have communicated to you what was going on, and again I apologize for that.Again as I promised on our phone conversation, the contract has been cancelled as of the original cancellation date requested and the reimbursement check will be available within a week.Hopefully you will reconsider giving us a chance to help you on any future automotive needs.Kings Mazda

I do understand that the Stahl's brought their Mazda VIN# [redacted] to Kings Mazda to replace a blower motor and resister for a no heat concernThe customer had brought in parts they had purchase elsewhere for the repairOn the repair order prepared at the time of write-up, the customer indicated that the blower motor was inop and requested Kings Mazda to install the customer supplied blower motor and resisterThe customer acknowledged the requested service with a signature and an original estimate of $for the repair There was no mention or request of any diagnostics performed before the repairWhen the car arrived, it was partially dismantled around the blower motor area with several wires and parts pulled apartThe actual guard around the blower motor was removedThe technician attempted to replace the blower motor with the supplied parts and noticed they were the incorrect partsMrs [redacted] did authorize Kings Mazda to put the correct part on and approved the additional expense of that part The check engine concern was a wire that was unplugged and repairdThis is not a wire that is usually unplugged during this repair but since the repair had been initiated by some else it is possible it was unplugged at that timeI understand that repair was completed satisfactorily and that the heat is operating correctly Kings Mazda can not refund the requested amount because we did perform the service requested and approved by [redacted] [redacted] General Manager Kings Mazda

Gary, Please see the attached Buyers Guide signed by the customer along with our "we owe" form signed by the customer clearly indicating that the car is sold AS-IS. [redacted] ***

I did speak with Mr*** about the concerns on his purchaseI explained the issue with the Coupon book being in his name and let him know that his daughter will have the loan show on her credit bureau either wayI also discussed the demo situation and am emailing him the requested information
on how the car was drivenI did assure him that when his daughter brings the car in for service we will address the issues with the vehicle.*** ***Kings Mazda

The customer acknowledged the requested service with a signature and an original estimate of $495 for the repair.  There was no mention or request of any diagnostics performed before the repair. When the car arrived, it was partially dismantled around the blower motor area with several wires and parts pulled apart. The actual guard around the blower motor was removed. The technician attempted to replace the blower motor with the supplied parts and noticed they were the incorrect parts. Mrs. [redacted]  did authorize Kings Mazda to put the correct part on and approved the additional expense of that part.

We did process again in early December and the cancellation was turned down again because of an open claim.
