When these particular guests had originally checked in upon arrival they stated that they had made a reservation and had been told that the weekly rent for 4 people in a room with 2 beds was $429.00 per week after taxes. The guests were asked if they had made the reservation online or over...

the phone and they just kept stating that they had made a reservation and was quoted that price. Kings Motor Inn decided to honor that price that they said they were quoted for the first week but if they choose to stay any other additional days that they would have to show proof of the price they were quoted otherwise they would be charged what the rate currently is according to our fixed prices for weekly. our rate for a room with two beds for four people and a kitchen is $500.00 per week. They weren't happy about it and paid  it however they didn't feel that it was right.   When they checked in they did not inform us of them having a dog in their room. We allow pets however there is an additional fee of 10$ per day and $70 per week for one pet. We didn't find out they had a dog in their room till the maid had finally been allowed by them to enter their room and clean it. This was during the 2nd week of their stay when we found out about the dog. They weren't happy about having to pay a pet fee and they were charged for the pet on their next check out date to which they stayed over and paid. another week. The first week they paid for their room in full without any problems. The following week and for 3 weeks to follow that they had a hard time coming up with their rent money as we allowed them to pay for their second week % of their rent and the other [redacted] of their rent on their next check out date. Management was being courteous and going against our , policy of not accepting split payments and she allowed them to do this for the 2nd  3rd and 4th week of their rent payments. They had various different payment requests that we don't normally allow but we did in attempt to keep our guests happy. After 30 days of stay we tax exempt our customers which gives them a price break In rent. They wanted us to tax exempt their rate at the original rate they checked in with which we were never shown proof of that weekly rate as per our request. We tax exempted  them as per the fixed  rate of $ 500.00 a week plus the pet fee  of $70.00 per week. Which we gave them a break in the costs at a total of $460 a week With pet fees included, tax exempt. It should have been $436.68 plus the $70.00 pet fee. We worked with them as always. They were not happy about that but of course agreed to it, as who wouldn't.   When the maid went to give them room service after basically forcing them to get room service she informed the front desk that there were 5 people In the room. The front desk told them that they would have to pay for the additional person in the room if they were going to be staying with them. They weren't  happy about this additional fee. They paid the fee on their next scheduled check out date and came down to the front desk and asked the manager about being able to have a 6th person stay in their room. The manager informed them that 6 people would be a fire hazard in this room and that they would have to rent an additional room. They were not happy about this and informed the manager • that they would be moving out on their next check out date because 0they found a motel that would accommodate all 6 of them for less of costs0   In regards to the clean bedding that they stated they never received. They would bring down their bedding when they wanted it changed they would sneak It into the dirty laundry bin that was outside for the maid to put the dirty linens in, we would almost daily find that some of the linens would have dog urine on them. It took us a little while before we figured out it was their linens (after viewing surveillance footage) that had been soiled by pet urine and snuck into the dirty linen bin without telling any staff about it. Even with that in mind we never gave these guests dirty linens or dirty bedding one time. The manager gave them room service a few days before they were going to check out and saw no leaking toilet at that time. The manager gave them room service because they were very difficult  in regards to some of different things as stated above and she felt  that it would be easier and better if she serviced their room and also as per their request. On the date of their check out they came down to the front desk and asked if the managers boyfriend would give them a ride to the motel they were moving to since he had a truck and could transport all their belonging in one or two trips.The manager's boyfriend agreed to help them. They then asked the manager if they could have a late check out and she informed them that usually it is a cost of 10$ per hour for each hour they wanted to stay late. They informed the manager that their room at the other motel would not be ready until 3 or 4 p.m. She told them that was too late of a check out and that at the latest they could check out would be at 2 and at the absolute latest 3 p.m. The manager even waived the extra fee of 10$ per hour for their late check out because she knew of their struggle to pay rent every week. Time came for them to check out and they didn't actually get out of the room until after 5 p.m. It took the gentleman giving them a ride 2 trips to the motel they were moving to, with belongings and some of the guests. He waited for them to get all checked in before leaving them there just in case something went wrong. Upon check in at the other motel they were told for whatever reasons that they were not going to honor their reservation. Those I am not quite sure of. The gentleman giving them a ride then loads them and their stuff up again and returns here to the Kings Motor Inn.After seeing the condition they left the room and all the payment issues they had had as well as the not declaring their pet and additional guests they had in their room until we found out after forcing them to get room service because on their scheduled days they came down to the desk and informed the manager that they were either sick or some other reason why they didn't want room service...The manager and owner decided that we were going to reserve the right to refuse service to them. Then after they talked with and begged, MAHESH, who is the owner of this motel he decided that we would rent to them but due to the amount of people they would have to rent 2 rooms instead of one. They declined and were upset. They were all given a ride to where they were going to go and that was the last we had heard from them since, until this complaint.
