As far as who I spoke with I can only refer back to the name I was givenAgain, My vehicle was in perfect operating conditionThe operator took multiple attempts, which I have on video, to place the vehicle on the flat bedThe reason given by this business in no way correlates with a pre existing conditionThe car only began to smoke when the driver became frustrated and revved it to highAlso the grill was damaged in their possession, as it was perfectly fine beforeYears of service does not speak to quality & this situation could have been remedied at the location as oppose to the awful dismissive treatment I received

In response to Complaint# [redacted] This vehicle was towed in on 6/**/2017 at 2am by the authority of Mamaroneck Police as an Impound. Our driver, Harold, had picked up/loaded onto our flatbed, Truck #3, a 2003 BMW to transport the vehicle to our storage facility. On 6/**/2017 the vehicle was...

released to Jody Ann. I am aware that she had spoken to Sean, one of our service advisors, who has a reputation of being extremely professional and courteous. The complaint says, she spoke to me, but I was not there at that time.  I am sorry that the customer is not happy, but when any vehicle gets towed against their will, people are not going to be happy. I believe that there had been some pre-existing issue with the clutch that may have become more noticeable after the vehicle was taken from her. There is no question on our driver's, Harold, ability to operate a clutch, his experience and time working here speaks for itself. Harold stated that the transmission did not seem well from the start. He recalls seeing smoke after leaving the vehicle running for a minute. Our job was to transport that vehicle, as is, back to our storage facility. In addition to the clutch, we didn't find any evidence that we damaged the grille. The vehicle was transported using a flatbed truck and no other vehicles came in contact with their vehicle as our storage facility has a 24 hour surveillance camera.  As per allowing the customer to drive their own vehicle onto our flatbed truck, that would have been against our company's liability insurance policy.  We do not feel in any way that the customer would have been treated in the manner in which she stated and we stand by our 50 years of proud service.   Sincerely,   Anthony P[redacted], Owner
