After that call, I checked the status of the refund multiple times (which is easily verifiable from my emails to the accounting department)There was a slight delay with the Thanksgiving schedule and office closure due to the holiday. SO I PAID MY RENT ON TIME AN THERE STILL TRYING SAY I OWE A LATE FEE

Hello Ms***, I am responding to a complaint lodged with the Revdex.com in regards to a late fee accessed to your account. Rent is late after the 1st of the month with a grace period of five days, meaning if rent is not paid by the 5th day of each month a $late fee is accrued
on the 6th day. The date a money order is purchased, or a date on a check, does not impact the late fee. Despite the purchase date of 05/05/on your payment, the rent was late when paid on 05/08/2018. In the instance of the last day of the grace period falling on a weekend we will not charge the late fee if the rent is in the rent drop box prior to 9am on the first business day following the 5th, we do so as a courtesy for our residents. However, your rent was not in the drop box prior to 9am on 05/07/2018. Please feel free to contact the office, or consult your lease, if you have any further questions. I apologize for any confusion. Thank you, *** *** Heritage Green *** *** *** ***
