The [redacted] left their apartment without cleaning it therefore a cleaning fee of $75 was assessed. The carpet was left in a condition that was not rentable due to stains that were not there when the [redacted] moved in. Since the carpet was over three years old they were charged only 25% of the replacement cost. They were charged $388.21 for the replacement of the carpet. During the lease the [redacted] were responsible for paying their water bill. The water bill is billed in arrears since it is based on usage. The [redacted] never paid the last bill which amounted to $26. The total amount owed upon leaving their apartment was equal to: $489.21.
