The restaurant reprinted the bill and added gratuity AFTER the receipt was presented
On Monday, October 30, 2017, I attended a dinner party of approximately 25+ patrons at NikkoWe waited approximately minutes after finishing our food to receive our billsWhen I received my bill the amount due was $11.40, however, about minutes later when I was presented my final receipt AFTER my card was charged, it showed the restaurant added gratuity and the amount that was debited was $They did this to EVERY patron in my partyTheir actions were dishonest at least and borderline fraudulentI have NEVER dined at a facility that changes the ticket amount AFTER you have already been provided your bill

Hurricane Sandy destroyed our first floor of our homeKingstone Insurance told us it was 'technically not a hurricane and downgraded to a tropical storm so we were not covered' Over $50,of damageWe were devastated
We had a flood in our home TWO and a HALF months agoThis time we were smarter and got a public adjusterKingstone agreed to pay for the repairs aprox $14,their adjuster came and investigated and agreedWe were told he sent the paperwork in two weeks later he admitted he did not but was going to do it at that moment and apologized
We have been told numerous times the 'check is in the mail' most recently We were told that last Tuesday (a week ago) Kingstone is only a four hour drive from our home yet it is taking EIGHT days to get a check to us
Now we are told we will have to wait TWO WEEKS before they issue another check
Half of our first floor of our home is gutted againIt's like reliving the nightmare of Sandy all over
We call them pleading with them to send us the money they agreed upon and we are told they should not talk to us and only our adjuster
These people don't careIf we were a day late they would have either cancelled us or charged us a late fee but they can hold back money, lie and get away with it
I am opening a case with the state board tomorrow on both our Sandy claim and our recent claim

Terrible online bill paying service. If you go to kingstone online and click online payment or pay bill you are directed to a website that takes all your information but doesn't process payment, it just keeps asking for CC #. There is also no way to set up automatic bill paying like every other insurance co in North America. I can't imagine how they would be w/ a claim

Without a doubt, the worst insurance company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I called them for a quote while shopping for homeowners insurance. Without ever giving any kind of approval whatsoever for them to move forward, they debited the entire policy premium from my mortgage escrow account. Took over 6 months and countless hours to get the money back. They are a bunch of thieves and an embarrassment to the industry. No wonder they are being investigated by the DFS.

Review: I PLACED A 300.00 DOWN PAYMENT ON HOME INSURANCE FOR A HOME LOCATED AT [redacted]. THE ROOF WAS BEING REPAIRED. I EMAILED PHOTOS OF THE ROOF THAT WAS REPAIRED TO SPIRIT INSURANCE AND SPIRIT INSURANCE WAS SUPPOSE TO FORWARD THE PHOTOS TO KINGSTONE INSURANCE INORDER TO HAVE THE POLICY REINSTATED. SPIRIT INSURANCE FAILED TO FORWARD THE PHOTOS, BECAUSE WHEN I CALLED KINGSTONE INQUIRING ON THE PHOTOS, KINGSTONE STATED THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE PHOTOS FROM SPIRIT INSURANCE. I WENT BACK TO SPIRIT INSURANCE AND QUESTIONED AND GAVE THEM COPIES AGAIN OF THE ROOF WHEICH HAD BEEN REPAIRED. AND I ALSO GAVE SPIRIT INSURANCE BACK THE 120.00 CHECK I RECEIVED FROM KINGSTONE INSURANCE. I HEARD NO RESPONSE FROM SPIRIT INSURANCE OR A LETTER EXPLAINING TO ME WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH TEH POLICY. WHEN I CALLED BACK, I WAS INFORMED THE POLICY WOULD NOT BE REINSTATED BEING THE POLICY HAS LASPED. AT NO TIME DID THE POLICY LAPSE FOR NON PAYMENT. SPIRIT INSURANCE STATED KINGSTONE WOULD NOT TAKE THE POLICY BECAUSE IT WAS TOO LATE TO RE SUBMIT THE PHOTOS THAT SPIRIT WAS AT FAULT FOR NOT SENDING IT TO KINGSTONE ON TIMELY MANNER. AS THE POLICY HOLDER PAYING THE POLICY I WAS ACCURATELY COVERED NOR WAS I FAIRLY TREATED. THE PHOTOS WERE PROVIDED TO THE BROKER AND THE BROKER, WHO IS SPIRIT INSURANCE FAILED TO DO THEIR PART IN SUBMITTING WHAT WAS NEEDED TO HAVE THE COVERAGE REINSTATED. I CONTACTED SPIRIT INSURANCE BACK AND THEY INFORMED ME KINGSTONE WOULD NOT REINSTATE THE POLICY BECAUSE THE POLCY HAD LAPSED. AND THAT MY PARENTS [redacted] AND [redacted] WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RETRIEVE ANOTHER POLICY UNLESS MY NAME WAS ON THE POLICY WITH THEM. SPIRIT INSURANCE ENDED UP FINDING ANOTHER POLICY COMPANY. TOWER GROUP COMPANIES # [redacted] IN THE AMOUNT OF 1452.00 WHICH IS WAY TOO MUCH. I WAS INFORMED I WAS ABLE TO GET THE POLICY LOWERED TO A LOWER DOLLAR AMOUNT BUT THAT MY NAME [redacted] HAD TO BE INCLUDED IN THE POLICY. 11-**-2013 WAS TEH DATE THE POLICY WAS REINSTATED. WHEN I CALLED BACK 12-**-2013 SPIRIT INSURANCE MADE A NAME REQUEST CHANGE TO HAVE MY NAME ADDED WHEN THE FIRST COPMPLAINT WAS TEH DOLLAR AMOUNT OF TEH POLICY AND I WAS INFORMED BY SPIRIT INSURANCE THAT THE POLICY PREMIUM WOULD BE LOWERED. ON 12-**-2013 I CONTACTED TOWER INSURANCE AND I WAS INFORMED THAT THE PREMIUM AMOUNT WAS NEVER CHANGED AND THAT THEIR WAS NO RECORD OF A REQUEST FOR THE POLICY TO BE CHANGED WAS SUBMITTED. I CONTACTED SPIRIT AND THE DATE OF THE REQUEST FOR 12-**-2013 WAS TO HAVE MY NAME ADDED TO THE POLICY. THE DOLLAR AMOUNT WAS STILL 1452.00.Desired Settlement: I AM REQUESTING THAT THE ORIGINAL POLICY WITH KINGSTONE BE REINSTATED AS AGREED.

Review: I received a quote from [redacted] for an insurance policy on my rental property at [redacted] for $1,094. I sent payment in ful and have since received a bill from Kinstone Insurance for $1,804.00. This is ridiculous!!! [redacted] Grossman's contact info.
