I received a recall from Honda which was for them to read computer fault codes for the electronic power steering and update the software if no codes foundI called and was advised that it could be done in conjunction with an oil change and suggested I make an appointmentOn the day of my appointment I arrived min prior and stood in the service bay for min waiting to be helped! At that time I was the only customer waiting and one being helpedMy vehicle was checked in, the work desired reviewed and I was asked if I wanted their shuttleI told the service advisor yes I intended to get some lunch while waiting right up the streetI came back in hrs and saw my car outside so I asked if it was ready and Adam replied "he had no paperwork on it, he would check"After about min I asked again and told him it was out there, he again said he'd checkAfter a few minutes he came over and told me it was not readyI told him I had an appointment now 1/hrs ago and asked what was the point in making an appointmentHe stated well you leftI asked so I went to the end of the line because I left to get lunch? What is the point of an appointment? My vehicle was brought in within the next min and was ready in a little over an hour! and a half hours wait for hour of workYou can call me an unhappy first and last time customer! I will not go there for service again

I bought a car from autonation honda in When I bought the car, I also bought a service package that included the first services which I used In July 2016, I started hearing slight thumping coming from the tire My kids and I could hear it at all speeds I checked the air pressure, the thumping persisted In September 2016, I had the 6th service performed, ieoil changed and tires rotated The thumping got louderIn November I went to a tire shop and told them about the issue Their investigation revealed that the thumping I was hearing was from the tire having flat spots due to lack of rotation and the reason the thumping got louder was because the 6th service the thumping tire was rotated from the rear to the front
"So, the five times I went to the dealership and had service performed, the tires weren't rotated," I remarked They said yes The tire shop showed me all the tires and the wear patterns, which the thumping tire had the most wear I opted to get new tires and spoke to the service manager at autonation and would be in the following week to speak to him with the worn tire
When I met with the service manager, he looked at the tire and we went over the service records for my vehicle He commented that the service intervals were ideal
The service records showed that the tires were rotated on service through He indicated that I may have a defective tire and I should consult a M*** expert I suggested that the service technicians who worked on my car didn't rotate the tires and wrote that they did on the service receipt We call this "pencil whipping" in my industry
Later that same day, I consulted a M*** expert, which happened to be at the tire store I had my tires checked The tire store manager again, closely examined the tire and told me that the wear patterns and flat spots were indicative of no rotation, and there were no defects He said he has seen this several times over the years in the tire business
And now here I am, having prepaid for service that wasn't accomplished and it costing me to replace them Perhaps autonation will try to make things right

I just want to being to everyone attention of the experience that I had with this dealership in their service dept, this was the second time that my mom who is a elderly lady had to take the car back for the same noise that we heard the first time when we took the car in for service. Now understand that I live in Dallas TX and handle all of my moms affairs. But you know I must say that the General Manager name Kenny M[redacted] have really help me out on the issue that I was having in the service dept. But do remember everyone their did not disrespect in any way even tho I was angry they still carried them self in a very professional way. And I thank everyone their.
