As stated on the receipt, all of our work has a month/12,mile warrantyIf the alternator that was purchased from our facility was the cause of the customer's mechanical break down, then this incident that the customer is referencing is covered from the date and mileage on the receipt and must be brought back to us for warranty repairs as noted in the invoiceBy replacing the alternator, we can not guarantee that all the other parts on the vehicle may or may not fail at any given timeAs a side note, the complainant's last name is different from the name on the receiptIf vehicle has transferred ownership, warranty is non-transferable without the original owner's consent and our documentation in writingIf the alternator is currently faulty, we will gladly replace it providing that the vehicle is within the mileage on the receiptThanks

The customer's statement is true and we never disputed that at allThe issue is, is that the customer took it to another facility instead of bringing the vehicle back to us for the warranty repairsAlso, customer requested a refund for the service but did not bring back the faulty partFor
example, you couldn't request that *** give you a refund for a broken TV without bringing the TV back to the company in which you bought it from. I understand the customer's frustration, but I am limited as to what I can do regardless of what the receipt said from the dealerIt also states on the bottom of our invoices, that "warranty work has to be performed in our shop"This is not a good situation for the customer or us, but if the vehicle was brought back to our facility, the warranty work would have been preformed without question.
