I need to share my unacceptable experience dealing with ( or attempting to!) Kinlin-Grover R E Vacation Rentals Agency over the past four (4) months: Having the good fortune to allow me to fulfill a life-long dream, I purchased a condominium in [redacted]  in March of Wanting and needing to rent my unit from August on into even late spring 2018, I began working with Tina L [redacted] of Kinlin-Grover, a preferrred agency, as suggested within my new owner documentsEven at that cold, early sprng season, Tina expressed enthusiasm for waterfront/view units in my particular area are few and far betweenShe felt there'd be no problem renting for the months I wishedShe shared that there is a market for housing for consultants, temporary business or educators in the mid-Cape region, so it was not at all improbable to consider a full winter of vetted tenantsMy new pal, Tina!!! Kinlin-Grover's practices sounded and looked quite organized, logical, absent-owner supportive, and well-seasoned was my opinion after speaking at length with Tina throughout the end of AprilI received a daunting informational mailing of necessary condition statements, household items to supply, regulations, unit months of availability, and a contractLater, Tina said when I reported I hadn't known HOW to fill out certain formsshe kind of chuckled and offered," Oh, I kind of forget that at The B........, everything is set.....didn't need some forms...." yayyyy.....Noooooo, NO BOTHER! No really, my time is YOUR time!! Hummmmm......does it follow then, that YOUR FEE is MY FEE?!?! By mid-May, I'd mailed all required paper work to Tina's office address save oneI retained the contract as I had questions and I never sign my good name to any sort of contract without thoroughly comprehending "the fine print." One question I was pondering was about bestowing exclusivity on Kinlin-GroverTina had received my documents much earlier with absolutely no comment, although I'd requested her to tell me when she did receive same We spoke about using generic photographs of the attractive campus, and sellers' pictures which had been easily accessible on the web and sent by me to herJUST at the point where it appeared she was finally ready to post my unit, suddenly,".....OH, I don't have your contract! I can do NOTHING without that......" This, after speaking and planning for nearly three (3) months! OK THEN, I quickly decided to give exclusivity, checked the dammed box, snapped photographs of my signed papers, and promptly e-mailed same to Tina, especially requesting that she inform me when my unit was on her websiteCRICKETSDuring the rest of May and much of June, I felt confident that "real estate business" affairs were well underwayI am not new to the rental market, having owned and managed property for the past thirty yearsI AM NEW to the monthly rental of furnished units vacation market, however, which I'd shared with the agent enlisting her advice which never arrivedI threw myself into unpacking, settling in and bliss-filled hours painting some furnishings in an hômage to the whimsical mid-twentieth century [redacted] artist, [redacted] ***In the exciting rto moving day May 25th, and for much of June, Tina and I spoke several times, but she appeared to suddenly become quite busy, at least unavailable to me! I sent photographs of my interiors, but each was scoffed at, quite firmly rejected yet no offer to appear to take her quality photographs was utteredFrom Tina's e-mail or telephone tone, it appeared she became frustrated with me?! HUH?!? She repeatedly insisted.," ....go look at my website to see the quality of photographs.....other units have....." Well I know, advertising or marketing in any format is NEVER a guarantee of reeling in a responsible tenant, but YA HAVE TO THROW THE NETS OUT IN THE WATER!!!! As July set in, checking the rather arcane Kinlin-Grover rentals website, I began to get downright anxious, annoyed and pretty confusedSince I can hardly say at this juncture in such a long yet cathartic review, " cutting to the chase".......I'll just try to sum the sorry mess up: MY UNIT HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN ADVERTIZED ON THEIR WEBSITE OR ANYWHERE!! The latest and last communication, an e-mail exchange which I initiated, was an abortive attempt to send EVEN MORE carefully edited photographs and to express my deepening frustrationIMMEDIATELY REJECTED!!! In mid-DEFENSE, the last scoffing scold that Tina sent my way was,"Oh maybe you'll get it ready to go on the market for NEXT YEAR!...." I wrote my cautionary tale of woe here amid other review sites, because neither Tina, nor her office manager nor a regional director I sequentially contacted has had the courage and the courtesy to respondSince that time right through the present day, I have not met this agent, not do I wish to at this point! Make your course adjustments to give Kinlin-Grover a WIDE BERTH and consider yourself well away
