My car was towed from my condominium complex on February 22nd in the morning after receiving a couple of inches of fresh snow the night before I woke up to my car being removed from the parking lot of my condominium complex I went down to the parking lot to see if I could figure out what happened when one of the neighbors told me that my car had been towed I called Kinney's Towing to ask how I could get my car back They told me that the charge was $plus a $fee for Sunday pickup I was also informed in a very rude way that it must be cash She did inform me that I could wait until Monday to pick up the vehicle and the total would be $without a Sunday Fee I picked up the vehicle this morning The tow charge was $150.00, $mileage fee (miles door to door) and a $fuel surcharge I paid them $in cash as demanded I was told it had to be cash as too many people have cancelled their credit cards after picking up their vehicle out of impound I said I am not like that, I am a small business owner in town and I understand that every small business needs to make money I asked to be taken to my vehicle When I arrived at my vehicle, I saw that the tow driver pushed my car so far back that my rear bumper had left an indentation in the snow bank I said to the owner of the company, "is this how you treat other peoples property??" The response I received was unbelievable...a tirade of F bombs dropped I responded with my slew of F bombs directed back at the owner I was told, "get in my*** car, and to take my*** car off his property before he called the police" After taking pictures of my vehicle and how it was negligibly parked, I followed orders and went to the local police station They are not a nice company to do business with and nobody should work with these ill-tempered, bad mannered people

I recently became unemployed and was a little behind on my car payment two payments to be exactI did call my bank on a Friday and make one of the two payments I was behind my bank failed to tell me I needed to make both payments so that they could cancel the repossession order that I knew nothing aboutKinney towing came to repo my car on a Saturday morning I went outside and asked the man if I could have minutes to call my bank because I had just made a payment the day beforehe said "sure you did you don't think I've heard that before" when he realized I was actually trying to contact my bank to see what happened he told me even if I had paid for the payment I had missed he would still be driving away with my car and if I didn't get out of the way I would be getting taken away in handcuffs even though I was standing on my own propertymy boyfriend came out to hand me his phone since mine was dying and it was first thing on Saturda so I had to keep trying till I got a hold of the person I had spoken with the day beforeperson I had spoken with the day before, he then started in on my boyfriend when he asked the old man if I could just have a few minutes to contact the bank and find out what happenedthe tow truck driver had a smirk on his face so my boyfriend said to him that it looked like he was enjoying thisthe tow truck driver looked him dead in the eye and said "yes I enjoy ruffling the feathers of people like you"I'm not sure exactly what he meant by that statement but he was clearly antagonizing usin the end he left my house empty handed as the police officer that was called spoke with a representative of the bank and they cancelled the repo order since I had called them and made a paymentbad form all around on the part of this company
