I have attempted to contact them multiple times. First, I resent the snarky tone of the letter. I am not an it and realize they are in fact probably busy. However, again, I have attempted to contact them multiple times and when their voicemail box was not full, I have left a message with my number. I have wanted to go on a non-weekend day but they would not know that as no one has spoken to me or tried to contact me. I also did contact groupon and again, as stated in the complaint, was told by groupon that the company would not be contacting me and did NOT hear from them
We have thousands of people that kayak with us each and every year for the past yearsWe have from time to time not met the expectations of some people but that is a given in this business or for that matter any businessI am the Trip Advisors number one kayak outfitter in River FallsAs anyone
who decides to purchase a "groupon" they are able to read the fine print and decide if they would like to purchase or notWe as a kayak outfitter are open days a week, but hundreds of people buy this thinking that they will get that special weekend dayWe only have 12-weekends a summer and if these people wait until the last minute they are not going to be able to reserve a time to kayakWe state this in the "fine print" when they purchase the "groupon"This person bought the deal back in June and had until 8/to use it before it expiresWe have contacted or tried to contact every phone call or email at least one time, if we reach them great if not, That is not my problemNow, Groupon does have a refund policy for their customers and frankly that is where she should be lookingWe have an excellent customer rating with both Groupon and Living Social as well as a proven track record with these companiesIf we did not they would not be doing business with usThis is an unfortunate situation but if this person was more flexible with their times this might have worked out differentlyThanks
