Kinston Refrigeration was hired to repair a broken dishwasher through a home warranty company. I filed a home warranty claim through [redacted] when my dishwasher broke. Kinston Refrigeration was contacted for the repair and they contacted me to come out and diagnose the issue. They scheduled the service and came out to my home quickly. When the technician came out, on May 10th, I provided him with the error codes and he had to call the [redacted] customer service line to find out what the issue was and how to proceed. The technician had me pay the $75 deductible by calling my credit card in to his company and he then let me know that they would be back in 8-10 days once the parts were received to finish the repair. On day ten, I contacted the company to ask when they would be coming out and I was told that they ordered the parts on the 12th of May and that they were not in yet. I called again after a few days to be told, once again, that parts were not in. I continued to call every few days to inquire about parts. Today, June 1st, I called and was told that my parts were in and that they had my appointment scheduled for the 7th of June between 11am-2pm. I was never contacted to make that appointment, and I let them know that my daughter had a hearing test that day at 11am. I was then told that the next availability would be the 9th of June late afternoon. I expressed my dissatisfaction and that I was unhappy that it will have been a month by the time they come out to repair my dishwasher. I was told that they apologize and that they acknowledge they have had customer service issues because of the high volume (10-15 calls per day) from American home shield warranty issues. I was not able to choose this company, and after reading reviews I would have never chosen this company. They have several reviews with complaints of a similar nature. Desired SettlementI want the company to come out immediately to finish the repair. If they are not able to do so, I want a full refund of $75.Business Response Customer was contracted with [redacted] and since this complaint, the unit has been repaired to customer satisfaction.Consumer Response The company did nothing to ensure that my complaints were resolved. They still waited a month to repair my dishawasher. I am not satisfied.
