They came out for a leak in my shower and put wrong cylinder and said there finished . horrible
They came out for a leak in my shower and put wrong cylinder plate sticks out a inch from wall and they said it needs new plate said there finished . its like going to tire store and they put wrong tire and they say you need a new hubcap. they are horrible , rude and very unprofessional.I told There secretary to send supervisor to see the job his plumber did and the secretary that was very rude told me to get someone else for second opinion . Tells you it all when you cant even send a supervisor out to see the horrible work there employees are doing.

Desired Outcome

Repaired shower that is what they were hired to do.

When the technician replaced the cartridge on your shower valve, it was noted on the paperwork that you signed that there was a gap on the shower valve due to the trimming. Your valve was over 10 years old and some parts are no longer available. We looked into getting a smaller cartridge or even having the entire valve replaced by home warranty company. Since there was no longer a leak on the shower valve, the original issue has been taken care of, the gap was considered cosmetic. Cosmetic issues are not considered a failure and was not covered by the home warranty for replacement. We must follow procedures from the home warranty companies. We can only service or replace what they approve for us to work on.

There plumber stopped the leak with shower plate sticking off wall which is unacceptable and he said he would come back to fix it which was a lie but as I see this is common practice in this company with the answer they provided. They also said rudely get a second opinion and I did. The insurance company sent me another plumbing company that was amazed at the horrible job this company had done. They are now replacing the entire valve and moving it back something they should've done from the beginning but they prefer to lie and leave a job badly done . Just by the answer it says it all who hires a plumber to leave a plate sticking out an inch off the wall where the water comes in and creates mold. I am glad they answered proving to everybody that they don't care about the quality of work .

You state you care about your customers I asked for a supervisor to come out and see what happened and they say they do not send out any supervisors for any complaint that in itself showed you do not care about your clients you said that you did the best work possible how is leaving a base plate sticking out an inch from the wall a finished job? That is not only very unprofessional that very unsafe and unhealthy water gets into the wall and causes mold . The next thing you were dressed as you said the home warranty did not pay for anything else. The reason they did not pay for anything else is because you guys said the job was finished and that the base plate was the problem the base plate is perfect with no problems it was the installation that it's sticking out an inch off the wall that was the problem. To prove you are still defending your bad customer service the other agency they sent out immediately got the approval and immediately is fixing the job. Please explain to me how the other company was able to get an approval and able to fix it and also said you guys did a horrible job? The more you answer the more they prove my case that you guys did not want to do the job correctly and do horrible customer service.

We do apologize for the customer service received, we were not aware of your complaint until we received this through Revdex.com, we have already taken action on discipline for the dispatcher that answered your call and only referred you to get a second opinion as this is not how we normally handle such situations. We received a recall ticket and were already prepared to go out and rectify the job done at your home but when we called to schedule you stated you already had another company out who would be fixing the issue. We were not ok with the way the job was left but our hands were tied. At this point, you already said another company was out to fix the issue so we are not sure what you are further needing from us?

As I said before the more you're right the more you show your company is very dishonest. On this response it shows that you said you were about to come out to fix the problem and if you read down at your previous response no where on there does it say you were going to do that again you continue to lie it would've been easier just to apologize and fix the problem maybe get a supervisor to see the work you guys are doing and get him a better person to answer the phone send a girl with a real bad attitude that does not care for any of your customers

I was assigned Kintex Plumbing through my home warranty for a leaking garbage disposal. Daniel called ahead as promised, arrived as promised and did an effective and efficient replacement of my unit. I would definitely request Kintex again based upon this service. I only write reviews when I feel service is excellent or horrible. Great job Kintex and thank you!

I had a great experience with Kintex plumbing. The tech that came was really nice. He showed me the problem and fixed it.

My service was for a "stoppage", I chose what was closest to my issue, but I noted that the problem was water bubbling in kitchen and toilets when water was draining in other areas of the house. From the moment the technician arrived he was abrasive and rude. He flushed a toilet, walked around the outside perimeter of my home and said he couldn't help me. He advised me that I would have to call another company to address my problem and he thought it might be clogged vents. He refused to try and see if there was a clog elsewhere or do any other work. Considering he was wearing nice jeans, a nice tshirt and was worried more about the grass that got on his shoe than listening to my concerns I'm not surprised he didn't want to inspect the cleanouts (we have 3) under the house. After speaking to his mgr he told me he was going outside to make a call to my warranty company. He got into his van and drove away. Awesome service! I will make sure to tell my friends.

Came out and stated he knew what was wrong "CLOG" and with no wash out drain near clog he was not going to do the work. Ended up being a broken pipe.
5/27/2018 Water leaking from washer dryer area of home and the water was under all of the laminate flooring in the dinning room, hall way and stairs. Called our home warranty company and they sent out Kentex Plumbing LLC. A Tech by the name or initials of MAC came out and stated "I see this all the time, its a clog and I know right where it is." " you do not have an accessible wash out drain and I am not moving your washer." He left and updated the home warranty company with the verbiage that they called me and denied the claim. New comp-any was called and the made the repair. No clog, pipe broken waste line at washer tub. Any tech would have seen it if they looked with there flash light. Now the company has the gall to send me to collections for there copayment that they say is owed to them just for pulling up in the driveway.

Desired Outcome

To stop sending me a bill for the *** co payment and show this as a 0.00 balance. For them to retrain ther techs.

We have reached out to the customer to resolve the matter and left a message. Unfortunately, we have not made contact with the customer so that we may come to a resolution. We are more than happy to resolve the issue with the customer.

I had a leak near my water heater & a broken flush handle on my toilet and Kintex was contacted to fix the problem via Sears Home Warranty. I paid the $100 deductible before they came. The plumber said the water heater had a leak and should be replaced. He took the lid off the toilet, adjusted some things and said the flapper was leaking. It started leaking after he made those adjustments. He put in a sub standard flush handle that sticks, replaced the flapper which was unnecessary and the toilet leaks every three of four flushes. I received a call from Kintex two days later with a list of additional charges to replace the water heater. Sears is complicit in this as they are supposed to replace the unit for just the deductible. Kintex said there would be $515 additional charges. I had a different plumber look at the water heater (which quit leaking) and he said he sees no reason for some of the additional parts. I researched the parts prices and they are charging $85 for parts that cost $25. Considering that I could buy and install a new water heater for under $500 needless to say I am declining any further service. This company is scamming people. If I hadn't stood and watched the plumber with my toilet I might not have realized what was happening.

Refund I would also like this information made available to anybody who researches Kintex via the Revdex.com. They are scammers.

We were contracted out to the customer's home by the home warranty company. We repaired the toilet issue and plumber took pictures of the old flush valve and flapper and the new installed flush valve and flapper. The plumber also took pictures of the water heater which was reported leaking. All modifications reported are necessary due to we must bring all connections up to code specifications. We pull permits in permitted required areas and they must pass inspections. Home warranty companies are provided the same information as the customer. Our customers are never forced to agree to the modifications. They are allowed to get a second opinion on any work before repairs are made whether it is in or out of the network of the home warranty company. We reached out to the customer to discuss and explain the matter with the customer and possibly reach a resolution but have not been successful. The customer's daughter answered and said it was not a good time to speak, we have not gotten a call back yet. We hope to be able to reach a resolution and that it would be in our favor.
