We had two propane furnaces, one air conditioner, a propane fireplace to be repaired. We hired K A to do the work. We were quoted $400.00 for parts for the two furnaces and $800.00 for the air conditioner compressor. K A continually kept forgetting parts to repair all systems, which ended in multiple "charged" trips to our home. All said and done, we paid $2,699.90 to K A and we still have both furnaces and air conditioner that is not working.
In addition, the shipping invoice was ripped off the unopened compressor box when K A delivered the part. I requested a parts list sheet several times and denied. So, I tracked the part down through the shipping label. I was charged by K A $1.200.00 for the compressor. Online, from the same company, exact same part, the cost was actually $475.00 with FREE shipping. I also checked with another local Heating and Air conditioning business and they would have charged almost $ 700.00 for the same part and that's with a 25% markup. If that isn't grossly overcharging a customer by K A, I don't know what is.
We also discovered a few months later after being sick all winter that our exhaust pipe wasn't even hooked up to vent outside! So Carbon Monoxide was venting into our home.
I still have to get another business up here to fix all of our problems and pay more money. In the mean time. I took K A to small claims court and won the judgement for the full amount paid. I have yet to get a check from them.
K A was hired in good faith to bring our systems up to safety compliance. They failed miserably and quite frankly left my home very unsafe.

It was at least 110 degrees in my house last summer. I called Kinzer Air and they had someone at my house within the hour. It was a simple fix (fortunately), but now I wouldn't call any other heating/AC company.

They are awesome!

My husband and I have had Brett and his crew do work on both of our homes. The first was an air conditioning unit and slab that was completed quickly and right on budget so when we purchased our new home of course we called Kinzer Air right away! Brett came out, inspected and serviced our unit. I will never use anyone else! The customer service he and his crew have is second to none.

Review: Fall 2014 I received a time and material bid to install two mini split AC systems in my unit at a condo complex. I had to request and submit my argument with my homeowners association to receive permission to have the two units installed, one of the conditions to having the units installed was that the installation would minimally impact the look of the exterior of the building. [redacted], the owner of Kinzer air, came and looked at the job and and agreed to complete the install which included installing the air conditioning units and fabricating and installing metal trim to conceal the line sets. The line sets are running horizontally along the middle of two walls along the exterior of the complex and dramatically affecting the look of the exterior of the complex. I have contacted and spoke with [redacted] several dozen times over the last year calling him at least every month and up to several times a week to arrange to have this job completed. [redacted] always apologizes for the delay and assures me he will get some one out by the end of the week or early the following week. I wait for [redacted] or the installer to contact me with an arrival time but no one ever calls or arrives and I have to call [redacted] back later that week or the following week to receive yet another apology. Three to four months ago [redacted] did come out and measure my exterior wall so they could start fabricating the trim. Approximately 1/3 of the trim had been fabricated and dropped off at my unit, which I have now been storing for months. When the trim was delivered I was told that they would try to finish the installation in the following weeks which never happened. I stopped trying to communicate directly with [redacted] because it has not done any good so I spoke with a seemly kind woman in the office whom assured me she would get this resolved and get me on the schedule this past week. This week has come and gone and no installer and no phone call. Our complex has now elected a new president who has been aggressive approaching me in regards to the state that Kinzer Air has left the installation and there has been subtle talk about taking action against me directly for violating HOA rules because of this. The new president contacted Kinzer air directly to ask what the the hold up was and the same seemly kind woman apparently told the HOA president that Kinzer was not doing any work for me. So am I to understand that Kinzer air can collect a check from me, do half of an install and decide to not complete the job after dragging me along for an entire year on work that would take 1 or 2 installers half of a day to complete? I thought [redacted] at Kenzer Air was a honest business man and now I am not sure. It is bad business to make a commitment and then back out and lie about your obligations a year later.Desired Settlement: Come and finish the job that was agreed upon. Air conditioner installation and trim fabrication was a part of the original work order and needs to be completed before this cost me HOA fines and legal fees.

We recently had the pleasure of working Kinzer Air in Lewiston, Idaho. We want to express our delight with the customer service they showed us concerning our recent issues with our gas water boiler. We fully expected this event to cost us $2,000 to $3,000 but to our surprise it cost us less than $400! Kinzer Air went above and beyond in assisting us with this issue and we would happily recommend their service to anyone who is dealing with a heating and cooling problem. Their business worked efficiently, precisely and with kindness! We would gladly do business with them again in the future!
