Same problem on a CK3510..only have had it 5 months.. says its not under warranty but yet I got the bumper to bumper warranty.. not happy with kioti at all..

Have you had any luck getting something done with your tractor?
I have the exact same issue on my ck3510hst!
Only have mine on the 1 side. Cracked clutch housing, hinting of not being covered. Not very happy.

I purchased a back hoe for over thirty five thousand dollars withthe ffinancing, that must of has a defective diesel engine. It spun a bering for no RI would like a replacement since diesel engines should last ten thousand hours at least, not eight hundred and spin a bering with no reason for what caused the problem.Everything was fine as it was maintained and under used if anything as I'm not in business.I just need it too help maintain some property as the machine has no wear and still looks very good. The only thing that would be responsible for this is a defective diesel engine. The machine had other issues with the transmission that was covered by the warranty, but that problem could have created the engine problem, I don't know, but this isn't right and need a working backhoe not an excuse as that machine was paid for.Desired SettlementI want a brand new machine with full warrantee, just in case they made a lot of these defective products, thank youBusiness Response Revdex.com ComplaintRE: Case # [redacted]Mr. [redacted] purchased a[redacted] (s/n[redacted]) from an authorized KIOTI dealer on August 30, 2005. Upon purchasing the equipment, Mr. [redacted] was afforded a three-year limited warranty on his tractor. The first two years of the warranty were a general warranty that covered defects in materials or workmanship, but excluded wear items such as clutches. The third year of the warranty was for the engine and driveline on the equipment. In his complaint, Mr. [redacted] has indicated that a bearing spun in the engine. While this is an unfortunate occurrence, a failure of this nature that would be attributable to a defect in material or workmanship would likely have occurred in the break-in period of the engine well within the warranty period covering Mr. [redacted]'s unit. While an exact cause for the failure can't be determined based on the information provided, a failure of this type, after several hundred hours use would most likely be attributable to the lack of maintenance or a sudden loss of lubrication. In either case, the warranty has expired on Mr. [redacted]'s unit and is not within a reasonable period to consider for any type of goodwill or customer service allowance. As indicated, the limited warranty on Mr. [redacted]'s tractor was for a period of three total years, which expired on August 30, 2008. It is KIOTI's stance that if Mr. [redacted] were experiencing a manufacturer's defect as he states, the problem would have occurred well before the tractor was ten years old. KIOTI has no record of similar instances occurring with other tractors and therefore appears to be an isolated incident. KIOTI will not be offering warranty assistance to repair Mr. [redacted]'s tractor, nor will we replace the unit as he is requesting. KIOTI will offer technical assistance to any dealer repairing the unit should Mr. [redacted] choose to have his tractor repaired.Consumer Response This tractor has less hours then the hours required for the break in period too be complete.Plus the fact that the oil, and all fluids were good, as the dealer's mechanics stated everything looked good so there so the lack of maintenance was not the problem. So there'is no reason for that bearing too fail other than the bearing it's self wasn't properly seated or torked properly.Besides that the reason dealer knew it was properly maintained was they were the one's who maintained this tractor on another defect to the Transmission just prior too this incident which was covered be the warrantee and fixed. While breaking the engine and transmission too do that job, its more than likely they may had cause that problem inadvertently afterall they don't get too do this kind of job very often, take a break and after that break someone forgot too tighten a bolt to the right specifications, it's a relatively new dealership. While competing that job, I had they check everything and whatever ir needed, it got.So just because I'm not in business, your assuming that I cannot maintain oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic flied, grease, filters, radiator coolant, tire ,pressure, hoses, and read warning lights if they come on, which they did not. This wasn't my first tractior, I have two other's and two excavators, and I had a bulldozer that I'm sory I sold it.I'm retired, and the reason that I bought that machine at [redacted] it was convenient, I live around the corner, andit was a new line that He was starting out with, and I decided to help him promote Kioty, as to help , both of you get off the ground. That's what you get when you help someone and put your trust into a new unproven product, but that's not good for business and you both are the one's in business and you need too make money by keeping your customers happy, especially those who are no longer buying equipment, that need to produce revenue.I can take a hit and go by something else, but everyone and their uncles would notice that a Diesel motor that won't last one thousand hours, sales would get harder too mak I would think, as I'm not looking too get something for nothing, I spent over thirty five grand for something that would be dependable and last. I probably would have been much better off buying something used for five or ten grand instead as I could have gotten as many hours on a old worn out for God sakes. You have the Casino and the cards, you want too short me, that's fine, I love Karma and She's really love Me, thank you.Final Business Response KIOTI is sympathetic to the frustrations Mr. [redacted] is experiencing with his equipment. The number of hours required for the break-in period would be approximately 500 hours. If this issue were a manufacturer's defect as the customer is stating, it would have likely occurred well before the 800 hours Mr. [redacted] is stating is on his tractor. KIOTI cannot comment to the customer's argument that the machine has been well serviced, because there are no service records available after April, 2006.With that being said, Mr. [redacted] had a three-year warranty on his tractor as stated in our previous response. His warranty would have expired August 30, 2008. Therefore, KIOTI's position remains unchanged. KIOTI will not offer warranty assistance to repair Mr. [redacted]'s tractor, nor will we replace the unit. KIOTI will still offer technical assistance to any dealer repairing the unit.

After purchasing a new Kioti tractor, it's been to 3 different dealers,4 different times for the exact same problem. In November 2012 I purchased a brand new Kioti [redacted]. I used it very little until may of 2013 because of our weather [redacted]. Upon putting the tractor to some real use (cutting grass, loading material, etc.) I noticed the hydraulics bleeding off. I took it back to the dealer. After a week, I called them and they said it was ready, "the hydraulics are within spec". I continued to use the tractor, constantly adjusting the rear implements because of the hydraulics "bleeding off. In July 2013, with only 48 hours the tractor started leaking hydraulic fluid out of the transmission case. I took tractor back to the Kioti dealer. They refused to work on it. It the. Was hauled 130 miles to [redacted] to another Kioti dealer. That sit the tractor in half, replaced seals, gaskets and had to "helicoil" a bolt in because the hole was not put in properly from the factory when assembled. After putting trActor back together, it still was leaking. They tore it down again and replaced more gaskets and seals. They called me in sept5th and said its ready. I drove 260 miles round trip to pick up tractor. Upon useing it the first time it started leaking hydraulic fluid again. I hauled it back down toDesired Settlement In nov. 2012 I purchased a new (7 hours on machine)Kioti [redacted] tractor. At 12 hours I noticed the hydraulics were "bleeding off" excessively. I trailered tractor to the dealer to be repaired. After 10 days I called the dealer, he said the tractor is "within spec". At 48 hours (July 22 2013) the tractor started leaking hydraulic fluid out of the transmission case. I hauled tractor back to the dealer. He said he can't work on it. It had tone hauled 130 miles to another dealer in [redacted]. They split the tractor in half and changed seals and gaskets. They also said a bolt had backed out and had damaged the threads. They replaced all 6 bolts and had to "helicoil" the damaged one. After putting tractor back together, it still was leaking. They split it again and replaced more parts. On sept 5th (6 weeks later) I drove 260 miles and picked up the tractor. It started leaking the first time I operated it. It he following Saturday I drove 260 miles and dropped tractor back off at the dealer. They had it for 30 days and said its ready. They never even checked for leaks or did any hydraulic tests. I then drove 260 miles and picked up the tractor. I called [redacted] at the Kioti headquarters and explained what was (wasn't) happening. I now hauled it to [redacted].(Kioti dealer) In [redacted] They are now splitting the tractor and searching for the problem. Kioti corp will not return phone calls or answer emails. I have a defective tractor that has been at the dealer for over 5 months! I have more detailed notes and emails I had with [redacted] from sept and October. PLEASE HELP ME!! Sincerely[redacted]Business Response Mr.[redacted] KIOTI [redacted] tractor is currently in the care of [redacted] of [redacted]. [redacted]ment has diagnosed the problem and is currently working to repair the tractor. According to the service manager at the dealership, Mr.[redacted] tractor is being added to the repair schedule for the week of December 9th 2013. [redacted]ment anticipates that the tractor will be repaired and ready for pickup by December 13th 2013. As a representative of KIOTI tractor, [redacted] has been in constant contact with Mr. [redacted] in regard's the status of his tractor. The repairs for his tractor will be covered under the tractor's warranty in accordance the company's warranty policy. Final Consumer Response I have no issues with [redacted]. (I actually feel sorry for them). My issues are, 1- are they going to add 6 months to my warranty for the time the tractor has been in Kioti dealerships. 2- how many times are they going to repair the same parts on a defective drivetrain, before replacing it? 3- obviously, their not going to replace it. Would it be to much to ask for them to assist me on a trade in (up) for another tractor at minimal cost to me?Final Business Response KIOTI is working diligently with Mr. [redacted] and the dealer to resolve this issue. We are still in the process of coming to a reasonable resolution that will satisfy the customer.

The following letter was sent to Kioti in a certified letter on 01/27/14. It was delivered to Kioti on 01/30/14 and as yet has not been addressed in any way.KIOTI Tractor Division DAEDONG -USA, 6300 KIOTI Drive Wendell, NC XXXXXSirs,This is the third time I am contacting you. As yet you have not deigned to answer. The first email sent through your web site was in October. The second, sent through your web site, was in December. I am sending this one by certified mail. I am also send a copy of this letter to the Revdex.com. My tractor has been inoperable for over three months. I was not happy to have to use a shovel and wheel barrow to finish digging the 8 deep trench for the foundation slab of my basement. The following part of this letter is identical to what I sent before:I have a CK20. My concern is the hydraulic pump, which is worn out. The original pump wore out around 550 hours and the replacement, XXXX-XXXXX, which cost me at $500.00, lasted only a very short time. I brought both pumps to a hydraulics person and he said that for a pump that builds 2,500 #s of pressure, there should be bearings inside not bushings. First of all do you make a better pump for my CK20 tractor? If not, will you ship me one as a warranty repair? I need to get back in business before the spring.I purchased the tractor on 6/26/2003. I now have 579.2 hours on the tractor, which means the replacement pump lasted for about 30 hours. I purchased the tractor from [redacted] Tractor, which used to be in [redacted] GA, but I believe is closed now. I have been using [redacted] Tractor in [redacted] SC for all my needs for several year now.The CK20 has been fairly reliable for all these years, despite that several O-Ring seals have worn out. The pump is the first major problem I have. Please do the right thing and at least answer this letter.Desired SettlementI would like to receive a replacement hydraulic pump as a warranty item.Business Response Dear Mr. [redacted], We refer to your complaint letter forwarded by the Revdex.com. Firstly, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that you have experienced in dealing with our company recently. Please be assured that customer service is a top priority at KIOTI Tractor. I have been in contact with our technical department in order to assist you with your concerns. There has been an update to the hydraulic pump for your tractor. The part number that you had referenced XXXX-XXXXX has been upgraded to part number XXXX-XXXXX. It is the only pump manufactured for your particular unit. Unfortunately, due to the age of your tractor, 10 years old, this part would not be covered under warranty. [redacted] Tractor will be able to assist you with a parts order or offer suggestions to help improve the performance of your tractor. Should you require any further assistance, you are welcome to contact our technical department at [redacted]Regards,[redacted]KIOTI Customer ServiceFinal Consumer Response I was not satisfied with the response I received from Kioti. [redacted] indicated that the reason they would not reimburse me for the hydraulic pump or send me a new one is that my tractor is 10 years old. That is correct, but the hydraulic pump I purchased to replace the original pump, lasted about 20 hours. The original pump lasted over 500 hours. I think 20 hours use on a hydraulic pump that cost almost $500.00 is unacceptable. Perhaps [redacted] did not read my letter properly. Final Business Response Dear Mr. [redacted],KIOTI parts carry a 90 day warranty. In order to best assist you, please provide the orignal date of purchase on the pump and specify the name of the dealer who installed the pump to ensure that the proper installation sequence was followed as recommended for the pump.Thank you,[redacted]

INJECTOR PUMP IS OUT AT 775 HOURS ON THIS TRACTOR WARRENTY IS OUT BUT THIS TRACTOR SHOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER THAN THIS COMPANY SAYS IT IS OUR PROBLEMPURCHASED 7-00-2007 TRACTOR SERIAL NUMBER *XXXXXXXX ONLY USED FOR LIGHT DUTY AND WAS PURCHASE AT [redacted] EQUIPMENT IN [redacted] BOUGHT ON THE NO INTEREST DEAL AND PAID BY THE MONTHDesired SettlementI BELIEVE WITH NO MORE HOURS THAN THIS ON THE TRACTOR THE COMPANY SHOULD FIX THE INJECTOR PUMP A TRACTOR SHOULD LAST LONGER THAN 775 HOURS MY OTHER TRACTORS HAVE AS MUCH AS 4TO 5000 HOURS AND NO PROBLEMS.Business Response Mr. [redacted] purchased a CK25 tractor on July 10, 2007. The warranty on this tractor was limited to four-years, with no hour limitations during the warranty coverage period. There were no documented failures during warranty coverage period. The warranty for this tractor expired July 10, 2011. Mr. [redacted] submitted an email through our Customer Relations Mailbox on July 14, 2014 stating he had 775 hours on the unit and the injector pump failed. He wanted to know if it was covered under warranty. After receiving the correct serial number, the Customer Service Administrator researched Mr. [redacted]'s equipment and responded to his email with warranty information and expiration dates. The customer responded to that email and asked if it was common for the injection pump to fail with only 775 hours. The Customer Service Administrator responded and stated there are different variables that cause injector pumps to fail and it would be difficult to diagnose the true cause via email. It was also stated to the customer that KIOTI suggests he take his tractor to his local KIOTI dealer for diagnosis. There was no further response from this customer. As Mr. [redacted]'s tractor warranty has been expired for nearly three years, Kioti has fulfilled its warranty obligations. We are sorry for the frustration Mr. [redacted] is experiencing with his tractor, but the only assistance Kioti Tractor can offer is recommending that Mr. [redacted] have his tractor diagnosed and repaired by his local Kioti Tractor dealer.
