R. D. Herbert & Sons installed a new slate roof and copper work over a 100 year old large home on Oakland Ave. /Belmont area ($80,000), copper downspouts, and a new asphalt/ shingle roof over the garage ($5,000). They also were the Contractor for new siding and back door awning, all due to hail damage. Total cost - $102,000. They did outstanding, and beautiful work. Houston Herbert (president) personally followed up on the work, was most cooperative, and made sure we were satisfied with the work. His crew was professional, knowledgeable, and nice.
