Below is the response that I received. This is so incorrect what he wrote. First of all, again he never called the owners/management to drop off "Free Promotional Drawing card or that management wanted to drop off a Free Promotional Drawing. He told me that not my husband. Once he was in the apartment he never said that this is for a KIRBY demonstration. When he asked if I would like a candle or the dish soap not once did he say that we would receive this if they aloud them to clean our carpet. I guess I have to admit that he didn't comment on that he said it's not like it would take food off of our table. Which is the worst comment that he could have made but he didn't deny it. Another lie is that he said there was a Winter Storm Warning and again that is a lie. The weather on January 18, 2017 was in the mid 30's and there was some fog. If it is 30-40 mile per hour winds there wouldn't be fog. He is stating that the wind would have slammed the door and if that was the case the wind would have blown the door open not slam it shut. And if there was a Winter Storm Warning, why would you drive from Green Bay to Oshkosh. I have a friend that lives in the other building of the complex where we live and I called her to warn if they stop at her door. She said that Al had knocked on the door, wanted to come in and talked about the free $1000 in groceries and asked her what kind of vacuum cleaner she had. She said not once did he say it was a Kirby demonstration. She was busy and shut the door on Al. Again we did not know that they were going to "clean our carpet" until he brought the demonstrator in and the boxes. Because me and my husband are disabled he thinks he can say anything, but we are not stupid. We know what happened. I did also send a letter to Kirby Headquarters in Ohio. We still would like a letter of apology from Al and also an apology from the untrue statements that he has provided you. Thank you again for your help in this matter and that I don't want other people to feel the way we did while he was here and the comments he made to us.

sorry to hear about some of the confusion involving our showing to Ms. [redacted]
on January 18, 2017. In reference to her
concerns, here are our responses. First,
I never said that I had talked to the owner of the apartment building. “I
think” that Mr [redacted] might have been confused as to what I said (since He
was the one who answered the door). I
said that Management wanted us to drop off a Free Promotional Drawing card for
everyone in the Apartment Building.
Perhaps Mr. [redacted] thought I meant “Building Management”. I did inform Mr. [redacted] that we were from Kirby and that we would
like to show them a Kirby Vacuum. We
told them that they would receive a free gift if they allowed us to Clean their
carpet for them. They agreed. As soon as Ms [redacted] told our Rep that the
Kirby was giving her a headache, she stopped the demonstration and called me to
pick her up. All of the comments that
Ms. [redacted] reported are mis-quoted and taken out of context. That day there was Winter Storm Warnings for
30-40 Mile Per Hour Winds, so if the storm door shut hard, it was because of
the wind and I did not slam the door.
