Complaint On May 5th of 2014 we [redacted] signed a contract for the following/below with [redacted] under his roofing company Kirk's Roofing Company. Company Address: [redacted] McKenzie, TN XXXXX Phone: [redacted] (disconnected)Home Address: [redacted] McKenzie, TN XXXXX Cell phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX*Furnish labor and materials for-Install 2 coats of fiber coated roofing to include the following areas & approximate dimensions-Left perimeter of building 10x250-Right perimeter of building 10x250-Entire office area in front of building 10x500-Ridge 10x500-Flash & seal area currently leaking- Clean up and dispose of roofing derbiesNote: Carries a 3 year labor warranty and 1 year guarantee by [redacted]'s Roofing CompanyThe bill came to 19,785.00 on his invoice#XXXXXX which we paid in full in July 2014 in the amount of $19,785.00Our warehouse manager called us on February 24th after she did a walk through of the front office area and found broken ceiling tiles, water logged isolation, and 2 inches of water all over the floor & carpets. We had to hire someone to come and clean up the water and waste which came to $2,900.00. Our maintenance employee went on the roof to tarp it so no more water could come through. We now have warped flooring and not to mention what kind of mold issues we might now have when the weather gets warmer. We have been trying to air out the insulation and duct work the best we can, but we are not sure how the tarp will continue to hold up if there is a good storm.Our warehouse manager tried contacting [redacted] that day (February 24th) on his cell and did not receive a call back. She also tried to call his office to find the number disconnected. She has tried leaving several messages and has not heard back from him. The president of The [redacted] has also left [redacted] a message and has received no word back. Last week I sent him a letter (see attached) to try and get some kind of contact going. I left him a voice mail this morning to see if he received my letter and to PLEASE contact me to at least take pictures or come out and see what can be done.We are also going to try and rent out the front office area the first week of April but we might have to cancel if we cannot get the rood fixed in time. We are looking for the Revdex.com to assist us on:_ Contacting [redacted] within the next 48 hours and insist he stand by his warranty and start repairing damage. _ Contact Kirk's Roofing's insurance company to see if his business insurance can honor his contact with The [redacted] since this would have been done under the time he had business insurance._ Have a Revdex.com claim assessor go out to our building on [redacted] McKenzie, TN and take pictures and have written documentation of the damage done_ If no contact can be made with in 48 hours, then release this as a claim against him and his company for damages to the county and state boards for further action against him_ Assist The [redacted] in receiving County or State funds for damages _ Help get us in contact with a business lawyer in Carroll County if the Revdex.com cannot locate [redacted] within 48 hours.If you should need more information, please contact me [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX or feel free to email me.Thank you for your help.
