In response to this complaint, I wanted to have noted for the record that we have spent much time in the bidding, sourcing of materials and subcontractors on this project. We paid for over 150 hours to our project managers to develop the bid package. Per our contract, it clearly states... that the customer will be billed and obligated to pay $65 per hour for this work even if project is not moved into construction phase. We billed the client for this work. At this time, I have consulted with our attorney and I am in direct negotiations with the customer with an offer. I have offered a $2400 discount in the settlement offer. This offer was sent certified mail on 4/12/2016 and I am waiting for a response from them.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/11/13) */
We performed interior ceiling repairs and repaired siding in which would not account for the leaking roofIf there were issues with the work that we did they would have shown immediately, not years laterWe do not cover his area which
is why we have not been to his home and we do not repair roofsI am not a roofing expert and having our company look at the leak would not be beneficial to him
