Review: We had a contract for the roof repair with Mr. [redacted],KIS construction unlimited. Total contract price was $9,000.00. We did pay him in advance $3,000.00. Usually this kind of work is completed for 3-4 working days. Mr. [redacted] has been delaying roof repair for about 4 weeks!He did some work at the first week (according to the estimation from the independent inspector - less than 30% of the roof was done), for the next two weeks a little more work has been done and Mr. [redacted] did not supervise this work properly. His workers have been extremely negligent - they have throwing nails and sheets from the roof right to the drive way!On a third week he informed us that he is going on vacation and demanded $3,000.00 more. He even did not confirm that the work will be finished in a week after his return from vacation. After arguing he started screaming and hitting car's door making huge noise and scaring all people around. My wife was crying and wanted to call the police but I did not want to disturb our neighbors! Because of this delay we could not do any other work on a house and spend ~1,200.00 paing for staying in apartment.I do not recommend KIS construction service to enyone!Desired Settlement: We would like to have back $3,000.00 we did pay to Mr. [redacted] and also to be compensated for $1,200.00 we had to pay for the staying in the apartment because of delay.

I will take this opportunity to respond to the complaint and inform you that the above complaint as well as the complaint filed with consumer affairs is a result of retaliation by the [redacted]'s whereas the complainants are the defendant's in a case filed by me a plaintiff.

Each and every statement made by the complainant's are completely inaccurate and/or false and in fact Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] are in violation of a contract as well as in default of payment due to me for $5060.00 for purchase of materials and labor and for services rendered.

This case will likely be scheduled for trial on September **, 2013 at 9:30 before a Judge in Rye city court who holds proper jurisdiction of this case at this time. And It will be presiding Judge Who will determine the facts regarding this matter.
