Ceramic Tourmaline Salon Bonnet Dryer 1875W

No Batch Code on Box or bottom of dryer itself

The item states on packaging & instructions that it has adjustable height to 4 1/2".It does not as there is NO way to adjust height since there are non movable pieces on the column & if they were movable no were to latch..A simple search on the Internet shows other customers also inquired about this & have not received a response.I looked at more then 3 of the same item thinking it may have been a defect & they all were the same.So either all the dryers are defective or it is false advertisement. I would've never purchased if that was the case & can not use for someone shorter then me since not adjustable. I also was not able to locate a batch code on the box or dryer itself.Desired Settlement: Reimburse the purchase amount $39.99 + tax still being sold at [redacted] & [redacted] or send a bonnet dryer that actually is adjustable. Unfortunately I already used the dryer before discovering the false advertisement & trying to adjust the height.

Review: I purchased one of the company's flat irons at a local beauty supply store in [redacted]. The flat iron burned and fried my hair, despite taking all of the proper precautions in the use of the flat iron. I attempted to return the flat iron to the store, which I obviously don't want to use on the rest of my hair, only to be told I must take it up with the company. So I did, filing a complaint with them last night. Their response was to send a copy of their product warranty which would preclude me from getting a refund on their horribly made product. This is because their warranty tries to absolve any responsibility on their end: "This warranty does not cover cosmetic damages or damages due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use, or modifications of, or to the product".

My situation does not fit into any of these categories and all they want to do is "exchange, repair, or replace". I don't want to exchange it for any other product they have because I must assume at this point that all of their products have a similarly low production value. That also eliminates the choices "repair" (as there is nothing to repair on a poorly made product) and "replace" (again, replacing a poorly made product with another poorly made product). I find it passing strange that this COSMETICS company has created a warranty to guard against taking responsibility when one of their COSMETIC products makes adverse cosmetic changes that are in complete contradiction to the product's claims.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of my money. And I will send this horrible flat iron to whatever address they want me to send it. I definitely do not want it in my house any longer.

Review: I purchased kiss nails and only used the for a few hours at a time. I followed the directions carefully. After using them over a month and a half my nails were severely damaged.

They broke, chipped, cracked and peeled. My fingernails look awful.

My fingernails are painful and unpresentable.

The company will not do anything to compensate for my loss. I had to go to functions and did not attend. I still had to pay for these functions. I also had to hire a cleaning person because my fingers are very painful.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for my loss which is $2000.00.
