I am responding to your letter of October 24th concerning my customer, ***I have read their complaint and they were correct on the dates of the contract, the amount paid and the start date of the contactAs they mentioned, during our
installation of the dishwasher, one of the joints was not tightened enough and that resulted in a leakThe customer was not staying at their home at the time, so over a weekend the leak caused damage to the floor and the drop down ceiling in the basement belowWhen they found the leak, the customer called me I went over and assessed the damages and decided that I needed to involve my insurance companyThe homeowner was working with my insurance and when I heard nothing I contacted the customer to see if we could return to reinstall the cabinets they wanted replaced they said they were still not readyOn October 12th, *** *** came into my store and said he wanted us to finish our part of the kitchenWhen I asked him if the repair work from the insurance claim had been done, he said no but they wanted the kitchen done anywaySince I had not heard anything from the customer, all my employees where scheduled for other jobsHe asked me if there was any way I could speed this alongI looked at my schedule and though I would possibly have one day that week, August 14th and that I hoped to finish a job early the following week and hoped to be there Thursday and if needed Friday August and August When my employees arrived at their home on Friday the 14th, the customer immediately complained to them that they had done a bad jobMy employees called me and wanted to walk off the jobI asked them to please proceed and called the customer and asked them to please let the guys do their jobThey reinstalled the wall cabinets that were originally damaged and began to install a few trim piecesThey did not have time to complete all the work and were to return the next weekThe following Thursday, they had about two hours to finish the job they had been on that week, but by 10:they were finished and were on the way to the *** house*** *** came into the store again and complained that the guys were not there at 9:and they did not want those two installers again anywayThe guys were called and told to return to the officeThe *** then called the office and asked me to come and see the jobBefore I even left to go to their house, my cabinet company called and said they had received a complaint from the ***Upon arriving at the *** home the first thing they said was they had contacted the Revdex.com, the *** *** and their attorney I looked at the job most of the items they mentioned would have been addressed with the trim pieces we still were going to installBoth customers were yelling at me and at that time I walked outUpon returning to the office I called my cabinet company and they suggested that I involve their company representativeI emailed the customer the next day and told them what I had planned to doThat the company representative would be in WV the week of October 31" and will be in the Fairmont area Tuesday and Thursday and I asked the *** which day would be convenient for them to go over their issuesAs soon as they reply and I have them meet with myself and the company representative, I will advise you how we will settle this dispute and finish the last items Sincerely, *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am writng in response to your email informing us of the letter you received from [redacted] which indicated that we had reached a common ground and that the kitchen was completed and that we were satisfied. She also included pictures of our kitchen. We knew that the pictures were taken but we weren't aware that they were being sent to you.   [redacted] called us on Thursday December 15th requesting final payment of the kitchen in the amount of $1661. I explained that we were in the process of putting our kitchen together and that there were some things that needed addressed and that she would receive payment when these things were taken care of. The discussion included [redacted] stating that she felt she had bent over backwards to try to resolve this and I reiterated the amount of time and inconvenience we have had to deal with over the last 4 months. The conversation ended with [redacted] asking me to contact her whenever we were ready for them to come back to do these things.  I will contact [redacted] tomorrow morning to schedule [redacted] sometime before Wednesday of this week so that our kitchen will be finished before [redacted]We tried to write a response on the website but was unable to include a response other than to reject [redacted] response.
