Review: we order cabinets and use a contractor provided by the company. Cabinet was order incorrected and contractor attempted to fix. Fix did not hold up. Charge me for painting the cabinets imperfecions. In addition, within a couple of months the paint was peeling from the cabinets not where the painters orginially painted. Company said it was a manufacture issue. Manufacture claims it is wear and tear. The cabinets are not even a year old and began calling regarding the issues within 6 months. Cabinets also have spread, forming lines and manufacture said it should have been explain by the company that it would happen becuase it is wood. Cabinets in the show room do not have the lines and it was not explain that it would happen. Left several messages and the manager has not return the calls. They have forward an email from the manufacture and that is it.Desired Settlement: I would like the cabinets fixed and repainted.

Review: I waited months for a island corner molding. Finally could not wait to have my contractor install it. Sales associate told me they would have the install. On 9/**/13 worker came installed molding, he asked me to check the molding, the molding itself was fine. Upon him leaving I discovered deep scratches in my wood floor alone side of my island. Scratches were made from the compressor cable, he did not cover the wood floor. I contacted [redacted] he informed he would speak to owner, after a week I was told owner told [redacted] he would not do anything because I said he work was ok e day of the install. Yes I did say the work was ok but I did not look at the wood floor for damage, and if I had done so hey probably still would not have done anything. They delayed my construction job by ordering errors, missing items. I requested for owner to contact me several times and also left me a voicemail, however never got a response. Customer service from this company was the absolute worst!Desired Settlement: I am seeking damages to repair my floor.

Response:
Mr. [redacted]'s complaint
is not accurate;
Agreeably we would have liked to get the missing
molding to the customer faster
than we did. However, it took three attempts to get the piece to us from the manufacturer without damage or defect.
As a courtesy we offered
to install it due to the time lapse so Mr. [redacted] not incur any additio11al fees with his contractor.
During
the Installation of the molding,
our technician entered
the home wearing fabric boot covers on his shoes and laid down heavy duty shipping blankets
to protect the area of the floor we working
in. Our air compressor
was plugged In outside the home and filled with air-we used a long neoprene hose that reached from the outside of the house
into the kitchen. This
hose is very light weight and is
incapable of making the scratches Mr [redacted] is accusing us of making.
Furthermore, Mr [redacted] personally inspected the job upon completion and walked our technician out. It wasn't until a day after that Mr [redacted] noticed
the scratches that appear to be so apparent in his pictures ...
When Mr [redacted]
notified us I personally questioned our technician who informed me that the Job went smoothly,
took no longer
that 20 minutes, Mr [redacted]
inspected the work and walked him out thanking him. The scratches
are in ploin sight and should have been visible at
that time.
I understand that
Mr [redacted] Is frustrated
with the length
of time it took to get the corner
molding but I do not feel it warrants
us having to repair a floor that wasn't
scratched by us. Had
he called my office during the final Inspection and not a day later I would
have been more likely to take on some type of responsibility.
As always, feel free to contact me with questions
Business
Response:
Mr. [redacted] can continue to claim he has emails
that state different facts than I have already
provided but I have never seen them nor did he send them to me to date.
Ultimately Mr. [redacted] should
have pointed out the claimed
damage while we were at his home. The damage is in plain
sight and in the traffic
line to where we worked and entered the home.
so I c;ontinue to wonder
why it wasn't noticed while
the service tech
was there??
That being said Iprefer to offer the following solution
to avoid further
disagreement. Admittlngly it took too long for KBS to provide Mr. [redacted] with the needed corner molding
th t led to our issue at hand.
I suggest
a reimbursement be made for the loss of time it took to r.•:place
Mr. [redacted]'s corner molding.
I will issue Mr. [redacted]
a check for $200 that he can use for whatever he would like in exchange
for resolution to this matter. This includes claims
with the Revdex.com as well as Consumer
Protection. My offer Is in no way due to any contractual obligation but merely a gesture to resolve
the issue.
I will prepare
the check once Ihave record from the Revdex.com and Inspector
[redacted] of Consumer Protection
that my offer has been accepted by Mr. [redacted].
A check will be mailed to his residence and deposit of the check shall act as agreement
and resolution.
