- Customer ([redacted] from [redacted]) Paid only 90% of the total amount payable as per contract (50% Deposit, 40% Before Delivery). Balance payable on Satisfactory Completion.
- Refund not possible as Customer Ordered Custom Cabinetry specially made to fit client site.
- Customer not willing to pay...

extra for all changes requested after signing contract and drawings. Contract clearly states any changes after signing the paperwork will cost extra.
- We promised to complete cabinets on 11th Jan 2016, however when we reached site, all countertops were not installed, no backsplashes were installed, no flooring was installed and we had clearly told the customer to have it all done before we come on 11th Jan 2016. [redacted] from [redacted] visited us later and requested to finish by 22nd January 2016 as they need draw to pay their trades and will get it only upon completion of the kitchen. She promised to take responsibility of all damages by other trade (if any). We tried squeezing them in our schedule in the best possible way but could not finish it all on 22nd Jan 2016 as the work involved needed more than a day. A walkthrough was performed on 27th Jan 2016 and we received complaints about damages on oven trims and doors which were clearly damaged by other trades who tried finishing countertops, backsplashes and flooring.
- [redacted] also took responsibility of getting the toe kicks installed without having the floor installed, later on the flooring guys request they asked to get another layer of toe kicks on top to cover the gaps left in flooring and to get a better finish. [redacted] in now not willing to pay extra for stuff ordered.
- Everything was supposed to be finished on 1st Feb 2016, But [redacted] from [redacted] asked the team of 3 guys to leave at 4:30PM saying that the team cannot work later than that in a 3 Acre Lot with houses on either side atleast 50 feet apart.
- All material was in stock except the following:
o Range Hood - 1st one Already on site, but ordered a replacement as the veneer was splitting.
o Glass Door Above Pantry - Re-ordered as size changed when we raised some of the wall cabinets. Customer was well aware of it and was comfortable with Re-ordering.
o As a result of so many change requests by the customer, 5 doors that were supposed to have glass inserts came with wooden inserts. [redacted] from [redacted] asked to leave them installed atleast get his inspection done and get the draw.
- As per initial drawings signed by [redacted] at [redacted], he wanted a microwave above a double oven. We warned him about the microwave being too high and he did not listen. When the boxes and panels were installed, he requested to move the microwave on the island but again realized that island cabinet is only 24" but his microwave needs a minimum of 30". He then asked us to change the cooktop cabinet which was supposed to have two drawers under the cooktop to accommodate that microwave.
- As per initial drawings signed by [redacted] at [redacted], they wanted to go with a 42" fridge but changed to a 48" later and wanted us to change the one cabinet above as per initial drawings to two cabinets as the span was getting too wide for a single cabinet. Now he does not want to pay extra for this as well.
- [redacted] from [redacted] signed on the quote which clearly states Kitchen Guru will charge a 2.5% Credit Card Processing Fee if paid by Credit Card. He now does not want to pay for it.
Kitchen Guru Inc. can provide N number of references for the quality of work we do however we are not sure if [redacted] from [redacted] can do so. [redacted] [redacted]

Hi [redacted],
The only thing this email of yours prove is that you are doing nothing but finding excuses not to pay. Please find picture attached of me being outside your main entry gate at 9:10am this morning. Then I called you at 9:13am asking you to open the door and you confirmed you left it open for us to finish. And you sent this email at 9:27am. WOW !!
The fact that you had lot of other issues pointed out this morning other than the checklist you last emailed. There was no way for us to be ready for all that stuff. Also, a lot of those issues were not even issues and the remaining looked like they were deliberately done.
Please find a copy of the checklist attached with this email that you signed. I have put in my comments based on what was discussed onsite.
PLEASE NOTE: A picture of your house thermostat is attached for your reference. It was set to maintain a temperature of 12 - 13 degree Celsius. No wonder how and why the door joints are opening up.
Thanks

Subject: Work today
Sid, you have broken your promise once again. There are no workers onsite at my house and I am not waiting around all day for you. As I stated earlier, I will not be lied to and deceived anymore by kitchen guru. As per our phone conversation just now, my time is not free and you should not except this from me. I will return back to the house when your workers arrive to verify the items that you have completed. Once again, I do have cameras onsite to verify that my statements and actions are true and honest.
