Good afternoon [redacted],Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We care about our customers and want to make sure that we do the right thing by them.  We did tell the customer to send us the plumbing bill as we wanted to take care of that for the problem that they encountered with...

their faucet.  For some reason we did not receive the plumbing bill here at our office.  However, we will be having a check cut for the amount stated in the complaint and will have it sent to her this week.  We regret that this happened to our customer and will make every effort to correct the issue.Regards,Cindy P[redacted]Kitchen Magic

We are truly sorry for the communication breakdown.  Upon review of the of the setting and confirmations...

calls, while we did request a time for both parties to be present when we set and confirmed with Mr., we did not elaborate as to why we ask that and we definitely should have done so.   What should have been reviewed at the time of setting the appointment is that we ask two things in order to be able to provide an accurate quote at the time of our visit for the free in home consultation. That is that we like to allow time, at least an hour,  to determine the scope of the project and answer any of their questions the second thing is that we would be able to visit with anyone involved in the decision regarding design and colors, etc.   In most cases, when there is a married couple or someone with a significant other, there are things that they might be able to contribute to arrive at the exact cost and quote for the project. 
 
That should address the communication breakdown when we set the appointment.  I want to also say that we have spoken with the person from Kitchen Magic who came out to their home for the initial appointment. We have addressed this matter with him and coached him for the proper handling of such situations.  We certainly did not mean to offend her or anyone.  
 
After the initial meeting we did speak to her directly after our representative left and reviewed with her the above to some degree.  While we were willing to extend coming out to review this with her alone at another time, she insisted we come out that day as she had stayed home for that purpose.  Unfortunately, we did not have anyone else available that day.  We did, however, extend to come out on another day, but she declined.
 
We regret to have disappointed these folks… I would be happy to accommodate another time to meet with her alone, if she so desires.  Once again, I am sorry for the communication breakdown.

We provided a free in home consultation to review replacing their kitchen counter top on 4/14/17.  Our our consultant reviewed options for this and they decided on [redacted], although they were undecided on a particular color.  He quoted on 13 LF of counter material.  On 4/17 our office...

sent three [redacted] samples,(Lava Rock, Natural Gray and Sandlewood) to the customer for review before our draftsperson would go out to finalize and confirm their selections and do their formal measurements for fabrication.  Their measure was scheduled and occurred on 4/27/17 to allow time to review their color selection with the samples shipped to them on 4/1717.  At measurement all information on sizes and colors are confirmed and double checked for accuracy and to avoid  any errors. Unfortunately Ken, our draftsman discovered that the actual footage quoted (13)was inaccurate.  Apparently the island footage was left out in error amounting to another 8LF of countertop.  Ken then explained there was an error as the customer mentions here.  Bill B., Kitchen Magic called and left a message with the customer that the added footage increases the order by 1,200.00 but that we would extend the very best discount because their consultant, Josh, should have not missed that and made a mistake.  Bill offered to only increase by $614.00.  The other choice as to cancel the order completely and fully refund and deposit money, which was not the case as it is a fully financed order.  I am one of the owners of Kitchen Magic and I take this very much to heart.  We want to always do the right thing by our customers and make raving fans... never to disappoint , but to under promise and over deliver.  In that spirit I will extend another $114.00 discount for the additional 8LF of [redacted] counter we will provide bringing the additional amount down to only 500.00.  This really is to cover materials and some labor at that price.    Of course, the other option is to cancel their order completely.  Hopefully the customer can understand this was simply a human error, it was not intentional in any way. We want to do the right thing by this and for every one of our customers.  This is the very best price for our services we can provide.Please let let me know how to proceed from here.

Review: I have been getting phone calls, at least two times a day, from this company. Most times I do not answer. I have answered three times and all three times I have told them I am not interested and to stop calling me. They keep calling anyway, sometimes as late as 8 pm. The number they Are calling from is [redacted]. Another time I called the number back, got someone named Kyle. When I asked them to stop calling, he hung up on me

Review: My wife and I engaged Kitchen Magic at a home show in 2012 regarding estimates on work for our kitchen. Approximately three weeks later, we had a representative from Kitchen Magic visit and give us an estimate, however we ultimately decided not to go with the company.

Since Spring 2012, Kitchen Magic's representatives have called my personal cell phone number approximately 1-3 times daily. I have asked to be removed from their customer list on multiple occasions, however the calls continue. I have since stopped answering the number when received -- ###-###-#### --given the frequency with which the calls occur and the fact that I have asked to be removed from their customer list.Desired Settlement: I would like my phone number -- ###-###-#### -- and my wife's number -- ###-###-#### -- permanently removed from Kitchen Magic's customer list.

I have looked into this record and have now completely deleted from our calling list. The ###-###-#### number was not in our system, so I added it to the record and it has been deleted as well.

We are sorry that their request was not taken care of sooner. I have no notes in the file that refer to that, so I am thinking that the system did not process the request. We are looking into that as well.

We have successfully removed these numbers at the present time. If, however, they fill out another card at some point in the future, this information will be input into our system and we will attempt to reach them, as per that individual request.

Review: I initially contracted with a sales rep in RI to have kitchen cabinet replacements. I was financed through Kitchen Magic, PA, by a company named [redacted]. The sales representative never informed me that the funds would go directly to Kitchen Magic. I find that a concern. I then had to cancel the entire job because of a health issue that worsened and needed immediate surgery. I will have to take time off from work without pay and can not afford this work. Kitchen Magic has 1) my $2,600 deposited 2) $6,643.94 of a loan (by [redacted]) for work that was never done. I am already receiving monthly statements from [redacted] for payments on a loan that I did not even use to have any work done in my kitchen. I've already made one payment to [redacted]. The next payment is due November 12th.

I would like my $2,600 dollar deposit back from Kitchen Magic, and I would like Kitchen Magic to be honest with [redacted] and RETURN the [redacted] monies of $6,643.94 so that I am no longer liable for a loan that I no longer need and never used to begin with. Since this mess my credit score has dropped almost 200 points. As I am having surgery and taking time off without pay, I am extremely stressed out over my financial situation. Thank you.
