Kitchen Niche don't honour defective products they sell
I purchased the Vitantonio TicTac Tomato Squeezer and Strainer from Kitchen Niche. When I tried to use the Vitantonio Tomato Squeezer and Strainer at the beginning of September to prepare and can my tomato harvest, I discovered it was not only defective but didn't work. On September 13th, I received the following response from the Kitchen Niche support person: "It looks like you simply received a lemon. I'm sorry about that." I was asked to send a video showing "how it is spinning without the cutting wheel turning". As per the request, I sent two videos on September 21st. Subsequently, I sent multiple emails and called. It is now November 28th, and I am still awaiting a response, reimbursement, or store credit. I appreciate that Kitchen Niche acknowledged that the tomato squeezer and strainer they sold me is defective and requested I send a video to prove so. I am happy with all the other items I purchased from them. However, it is not good business practice to not respond to their customers or for Kitchen Niche to not stand behind the defective product they sold me. I should also not be expected to pay to ship the product back to the store. I request to receive a full refund for this defective product because I have lost faith in the quality of the product.

I ordered for the first time from Kitchen Niche this month. Shipping was fast and products were high quality and as described. I will purchase from them again in the future.

I placed an order on May 2nd for one product priced at $88.64, plus $7.99 for 5-8 day shipping. On May 18th I inquired about the order since it was not received and the email message I got back had two points 1) that on the items page it said the item would take an additional 2-4 weeks to ship (this is not true because I checked again and this was not mentioned on any pages) and 2) that the product was delayed in transit and it would arrive early June. I agreed to be patient, but by mid-June it still had not arrived and I was not getting any answer from them. My daughter and I tried calling and emailing with no response. Finally, on June 25th, they wrote they didn’t know why they were not getting our messages and said that the item would be shipped in a week - so I should have received it the first week of July. By July 26th, the item was still not received so I emailed to cancel the order and request a full refund, I do not need it anymore. They wrote back again saying that it shipped that morning on July 27th so I could not cancel. It is now 10 days since that email, they never sent a tracking number. It has been over 3 months since initially placing the order, I am done chasing after this company. They are not being transparent about my order and are giving me distress having to constantly check on them. I believe I am being deceived, they are not truthful about the status of my order since they keep giving me the runaround. I want a full refund including shipping cost to my credit card, if the order does arrive I want them to pay for return shipping. I do not want anything to do with this company in the future.

I am sorry you feel like you have been deceived. As per our email conversations, the Krumkake Maker you ordered kept on getting delayed. It was supposed to be back in stock much, much sooner than late July. Unfortunately, ever since the pandemic started, we have been experiencing a lot of delays for shipments from overseas.

Your order was indeed shipped in late July and you should receive it any day now. We ship from Canada and shipments to the US usually take 1-2 weeks to arrive. As per our email conversation, you may return the item for a full refund. If you do not receive it in the next 1-4 business days, please do let us know.

I am rejecting this response because:

Roman, hile I was patient and understanding of delivery delays especially during this time, the fact that I was not actively notified of the delays is dishonest. Every time I had to reach out to your company to ask why I had not received the product, and each time the answer was it will be sent next week or at the beginning of the month - this happened more than 3 times. The lack of transparency and truth has exasperated me. I emailed to cancel the order on July 26th, but yet you sent out the product anyway on July 28th. It reached me on Monday August 10th, I have requested to return the item for a full refund of the product and shipping cost, and am requesting you send me a return shipping postage pre-paid slip.

Furthermore, *** wrote in her first email stating that the product was delayed on the product page but this is also untrue. The product page never stated this. Please send me a pre-paid shipping slip so I can return this product which has been overdue by more than 3 months and give me a full refund on my credit card.

Placed online order Jun 25 after receiving an email back from kitchen niche confirming the 2 items I wanted to order were in stock. Order has been 'processing and packing' ever since. Order fully charged on my Visa on Jun 25 (not pending but posted transaction). Multiple emails to customer service remain unanswered and telephone customer service line is disabled. One response back was to advise that the warehouse was mistaken and one of my two items wasn't actually in stock but due in week of July 6th. Was assured the order would be shipped expedited and I expected it week of July 13th. To this day July 15th order is still in processing and packing status, I have sent 3 follow up emails with absolutely no response from this business.

It looks like an issue with our customer service email address caused our emails not be received by the customer. However, the customer reached out to me directly and I emailed her back earlier today. In case she does not receive my email, I would like to confirm that we will her the missing Peugeot mill in stock by the end of this week. As per my email, her order will be shipped Express (at our expense) to ensure she receives the complete order next week.

All aspects of recent purchase (May 23, 2020) as well as purchases over the past 5+ years have been perfect. Great products, prices, customer service and fast shipping. Highly recommended!

I ordered from KitchenNiche just to try them out, I had no idea where they were located, I had no idea how long it would take to get my order. My order came to approximately $143.00. I received my order in due course with the post office being so busy. My order arrived and it was in good shape and all the products inside were in good shape as well, and exactly what I was expecting. The tea pot with infuser is wonderful and the tea is what I ordered, the cup cake mixer is what I ordered and exactly as shown. The single and double egg poachers are just the best. I will order from them again. I feel fortunate that I found KitchenNiche and it's local as well..They are a Canadian Company and they charge in Canadian Dollars which is a plus since there are Canadian Company's that charge in US dollars. I love all my products that I received and they are all good quality products dThank you KitchenNiche.

I had difficulty finding jar keys in stores so was so pleased to find them at Kitchenniche.ca and at a reasonable price as I needed 7 as gifts. They acknowledged my order immediately and were so good about notifying me quickly about processing and shipping. I had my Canada Post notification and tracking number very quickly.

Easy to use website. Prompt shipment of order. Product as described and good quality. Very satisfied. Would order from again!

On May 5th 2019, I ordered a product from the 'KitchenNiche.ca' website, in the amount of $31.61 US. I was invoiced and charged on my credit card, but was not given a shipment tracking # or confirmation. I contacted the seller through their website, which does not have an email address, notifying them that I would be contesting the charge with my bank. However, due to ***'s *** day dispute limitation, my recourse for recovering the funds is now limited. I am pursuing this through other avenues and would appreciate if the funds were returned, nonetheless.

According to our records, this order was shipped almost 6 months ago. Unfortunately, *** only keeps records of shipments for 3 months so we are unable to file a claim with them. I wish you had contacted us sooner. Our website has a contact us page and our main customer service email address is *** . We do respond to all emails within 24 hours or less.

Fast delivery, great product and very well packaged, very pretty product.

I ordered a few items from Kitchen Niche along the years and the on line shopping experience is excellent, products are top quality and shipping was fast.

I found Kitchen Niche site as I was on the hunt for a new larger Mortar and Pestle set. Kitchen Niche carried one that was attractive and at a great price so I placed the order. I teach cooking to high school students so I am always on the hunt for new kitchen equipment to have my students use to give them a well rounded experience before moving on to professional cooking institutes. I love how the site is clear and the equipment on sale comes with detailed pictures and description so I can order with peace of mind without having any surprises when the items are delivered. I order online a lot so finding such a rich yet simple to use site has made a whole lot of difference to me. I was very happy to discover Kitchen Niche--the carry a large line of Metropolitan Tea Company teas that I had been looking for. The customer service was very responsive (and actual humans!) and the shipping was very prompt! Planning to shop there again! :)
