Review: [redacted]owner of this company, renovated my bathroom in Dec 2011-early Jan 2012. My bathroom has a window built into shower area and gets wet constantly. In late Sept 2015,I attempted to open the window when I heard a bang type noise and window ceased to open any more or close the little it opened. I found that the mechanism the controls the opening window was very rusty and had broke. I next water tested the window and found it is leaking from inside out.I contacted [redacted] so he can come evaluate the damage. [redacted] took one look at the window and said"Ill get back to you"and left. Not even taking the time to water test the window and verify. Next I got an e-mail from [redacted] stating I needed to buy the window for $350 for a totally different window and he would install it for "free". I paid $13k for this renovation and I rejected his offer because I spoke to anderson and they told me that the window used (7500 casement silverline series by anderson)is typically not installed in a shower area because its not a waterproof window. Or if this type of window is specifically requested the mechanism should be made of stainless steel and would not rust and break. And customer should be advised of a potential leak. I was not advised of any of this. Nor is my window set up with a stainless steel mechanism. Who wants a window that would leak bath water down the outside of there house!? After refusing his solution he wrote my a letter stating that im to blame for not maintain my bathroom by re-caulking the window, soap build up(which was insulting). I ask [redacted] to come and explain to me what he was talking about since he didnt point this out at our meeting in the first place and since have been ignored. I then wrote a letter to Mr Luca stating all my findings and how this window was leaking since installation because of the way it is manufactured and still no response.I feel he should of known these conditions before wrong window was installed.Desired Settlement: In his letter to me, he stated that the new window would be different than the one installed. I want the correct window for a shower to be installed by his company and done correctly as the outside of my house is now getting damaged. I was also told this windows location requires the glass to be tempered by law and the window in my shower is not. Its a safety item. I believe thats also a big concern should an accident occur.
