Initially we put a deposit for a refacing project but decided about two weeks after to do a full kitchen remodel including demolition of existing cabinetry. The refacing was planned to be completed by the end of November 2018 but was postponed as the update would require more planning in terms of new kitchen layout. However, nothing had moved forward since this time and up to now mid-January despite numerous follow-ups there has been inadequate and inefffective communication or provision to us, the customers, of a final kitchen plan that we may proceed with.

It has been over two months with no proper plan of implementation yet delivered.

After the scope of the job changed from Reface to new kitchen one week before the Reface should start, it had to be remeasured,

new designed and talked through , I had two more trips to the jobsite to clarify open questions , every week the customer requested new changes, altogether the layout got redone three more times during the month of December , the customer met after hours in my showroom with my designer to go over things that’s when we got told that the flooring will get changed too, I also sent the customer to marathon to look at the hardware , so saying nothing was done is not correct but with changes every time we contacted her clearly we couldn’t move on the new cabinets since the customer wasn’t ready for sign off , the full refund was issued on the 21 st and handed out on the 23 rd because I was out of town for install .

customer never paid any stoporder fees or even for the design .

I am rejecting this response because:

The change was proposed with ample time (not one week before install) to create a new plan. No help or structure was provided in this process and questions were not answered. *** Jochen was not available to discuss options or available product repeatedly failing to deliver at this stage. Customer *** and left at standstill meanwhile deposit was on hold. Jochen was aware from the start of customer’s timeline.

Meeting at showroom was to view colour scheme and door handles plus sample cabinets which Jochen did not have on hand. Made a trip to showroomz As stated above no other help or structure was provided hence necessitating a trip to the showroom. Same deal once at the shop ***. Jochen was not present at the shop.

Enough is enough. Got our refund after much the same *** described above. ***
