Typical rural NM contractor who refuses to prepare a proper written bid but instead does verbal hocus pocus.
Completely unethical excavator who says one thing & does another. Gives a low ball verbal quote to get the job, then jacks up the final invoice price more than 6 times then originally promised. His employees were ex convicts who by the direction of Mr Kite committed illegal offenses on 9/19/16 in NM of “false imprisonment” by blocking my driveway with their heavy equipment not allowing my entry or exit onto my property until I eventually got the sheriff to tow away his equipment. Mr Kite tried to extort his inflated invoice by means of committing crimes. My case was sorted out in my favor. Wouldn’t recommend this unethical NM excavation company to dig n fill my kids sand box. Buyers beware!
Per NM State Law:
“False imprisonment consists of intentionally confining or restraining another person without his consent and with knowledge that he has no lawful authority to do so.
Whoever commits false imprisonment is guilty of a fourth degree felony.
