Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
This businness is looking out for themselves and not their customers They took parts off of our trailer without our knowledge or permission Two offers were made, counter offers were proposed by us, then Kitsap RV never responded to us...so how is that rejecting offers Why would any customer ever trust this business to fix their RV after they stole parts, then claimed they were defective to cover up what they did

WE are never happy to have any of our customers feel like they aren't being heardLet's address the factsMs*** did not purchase her previous trailer from us as she statedWe did a joint promotion/show with Fife RV, she purchased a North Trail from FifeThe issues she had were at Fife
in and with their sales/service departmentIn early November Ms*** approached us to help her sell or take in as a trade her trailerWe worked with her and she selected the Heartland WildernessWith new trailers, there is from time to time warranty work that needs to be taken care of, they are typically minor things, but all the sameShe took delivery on 11/Upon returning from her first trip out she called in to let us know that the LED Awning light was not working and a bolt to one of the leveling jacks was brokenThe bolt can be fixed at any time, and this has been conveyed to her, she only has to make an appointment and bring her trailer byI think however she opted to wait for the opportunity to get the light strip fixed at the same time as the boltThe awning LED light strip issue was turned into Heartland for warranty replacementHeartland and Kitsap RV have been working together to get the Manufacturer of that component to replace itConversely, we have another trailer with a similar issue regarding lightsWe are unhappy about the position we are in, having said that we could have been better at being more communicative with Ms*** as far as giving updates about the process and why it is taking the time that it isWhile the light strip does not materially affect her ability to use her trailer we can certainly understand her being upset.Being a woman myself I can certainly say with great confidence that Ms*** has not been not communicated to or taken advantage of because she is a womanWe sell and service RVs to many women and have earned a great deal of trust and respect in how we treat everyone fairlyJon asked me to respond and I am here is Ms*** would prefer to work with me.Respectfully submitted,Melissa G***Business OperationsKitsap RV LLC

We are aware of the complaint. Every reasonable effort was made to work with Mr. [redacted]. We value our business and reputation but above that we value our customers and consignors and endeavor always to to our best for them. This was a consignment where on several occasions they were presented with...

offers that they declined. We are only able to sell vehicles based on what they are worth using known and accepted guidelines. NADA is the valuation tool we use. Often we see that people are over financed and that stems from their original purchase. We feel that this situation is a result of a seller being over financed and under financial stress. Please see attached documentation. The [redacted]s had every opportunity to allow us to finish the sales cycle and to also repair, the water heater that cracked and was leaking. The other conditions were discovered in our PDI inspection Kitsap RV performs in advance of a sale. These inspections are at no charge to the consignor. Mrs. [redacted] demanded her keys and removed their RV in doing so broke the contract they entered into with Kitsap RV. Their request that we pay off their loan is being managed by our Attorney. Mrs. [redacted] said at the time of pick up she was going to sue us and in fact they hired legal council and it seems that they were not / are not interested in working with us to resolve their issue. Our late response to their complaint was based on the fact that they retained council and we in good course had to wait for advice from our council.
