statements did not ballanceI stopped what I was working on and spent at least lhours over days trying to find a $diferenceI explained that there was probably a rounding error given the amount of $135,that was requested - the actual error came to 0.24074074074074076%I offered to speak with the *** *** to explain the de minimis rounding error, but was turned downI then offered to spend Saturday night on the phone using screenshare to rebuild a new modelThe response was I'm not spending a Saturday night reading the inputs so I could enter themHe asked for 1/refundWhich is silly since his loan went throughThere are no grounds for a complaint except ** *** wants $backI went above and beyond in my actions- but I can not help it if the client refuses to let me discuss the % with the bank (approved) or spend time with me on Saturday night (after I worked for hours the previous days)

You failed to meet your contractual commitmentsThere is zero room for error on a balance sheetNo excuse or reasoning of yours will make it acceptable to the bank, nor meYour recollection of error factor and loan amounts are way offBoth were much greater, I guess you are highlighting your attention to detail or lack thereofYou should just accept the fact you have issues that prevented you from completing the contractThe respectful and honest way to handle this is admit fault and refund moneyThen this conpliant is properly resolved vs remaining unresolvedUntil then I don't see this as resolved and will not agree with your response and continued excuses

Again - the work was accepted and after 2 weeks I was notified of a diminmus error of $31 on the balance sheet. With a complex financial model small deviations do on and a 41,000 loan ir is a deviation of . 002 %. Regardless when contacted after the documents were accepted ( and I am under no obligation to do any additional work without compensation once the docs are accepted- especially 2 weeks later. However I attempted to rectify the issue over a period of 3 days- breaking down the model and reviewing the inputs . At that point - s- I felt the model should be rebuilt. There was a Monday deadline so I was willing to work Saturday night to accomplish this. I asked the client to partake via screen share as we have in the prior weeks. The client declined my  offer and at that point on I felt that my responsibility was more than fulfilled. That being said I find that asking for a $400 refund when according to the client it costed them $100. The other $300 was to cover his time. Its ironic that  it was my uncompensated time that post acceptance of documents and my offer to work all Saturday night which is not entered into the equation.I will not be wasting any more time going back and forth. This is my final response- you may refer to my other two earlier replies for more comprehensive information.Thank you- and I would appreciate it if you ceased communicating with me regarding this issue. Again this is my final response to this unwarranted complaint and attempt to be shaken down for $400 when the additional cost was $100.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseA balance sheet, needs to balance. Very simple, a bank will not accept an unbalanced "balance sheet". I should not have to sit on the phone while someone tries to fix their balance sheet. It was not a problem with the data I provided. Nor should I have to beg someone to answer their phone and do their job, very unprofessional. I spent way to much of my time correcting their mistakes. I paid someone another $100 to correct the mistakes in 2 hours. It took [redacted] over a week, almost 2 weeks, and he still could not correct the problem in his balance sheet. He could not complete the most fundamental part of the contacted service, a balanced balance sheet.

Review: I paid [redacted] of KJMC LLC, a total of 1250.00 to prepare a complete business plan and an accurate financial statement, both income and balance sheet. I provided the balance sheet to the bank and it did not balance. I contacted [redacted] to resolve and after several failed attempts, [redacted] no longer answers his phone or appears willing to complete the job as agree to in the contact. I paid in full for a service that was not provided in full.Desired Settlement: I want the last 33 1/3% payment of $425 refunded immediately to my [redacted] account under [redacted]. I gave him every chance to fix the problem. He never could balance his balance sheet and decided to stop responding.

Response:

I was retained by [redacted] to write a min-business plan and create financial projections. About 4-5 days after accepting the work I received a call from [redacted] that summary financial statements did not ballance. I stopped what I was working on and spent at least l0 hours over 4 days trying to find a $325 diference. I explained that there was probably a rounding error given the amount of $135,000 that was requested - the actual error came to 0.24074074074074076%. I offered to speak with the [redacted] to explain the de minimis rounding error, but was turned down. I then offered to spend Saturday night on the phone using screenshare to rebuild a new model. The response was I'm not spending a Saturday night reading the inputs so I could enter them. He asked for 1/3 refund. Which is silly since his loan went through. There are no grounds for a complaint except [redacted] wants $425 back. I went above and beyond in my actions- but I can not help it if the client refuses to let me discuss the .02407 % with the bank (approved) or spend time with me on Saturday night (after I worked for hours the previous days)
