Unfortunately damage does occur  on some moves especially long distance moves.I do not know a Long Distance mover who has a perfect track record. We are definitely not disputing the damage and the customer will  receive  compensation in line with our responsibility for the damage....

K&J'z was trying to determine a sum to compensate the customer that was over and above the actual amount required. That is the reason we were not sure of the amount of the check. The check is coming which should resolve all issues.

This complaint was not resolved, but there was no way on your website to state this.  The movers finally left some leveling legs, but despite having taken all the ones from my file cabinet to supposedly get a good match, the ones left for me are not the correct size, do not fit or work at all, and now I do not have the three good legs the movers took with them nor a replacement.  The ones left for me appear to be a 1/4” diameter screw or thereabouts, where the ones they took are probably 3/8” diameter.This was not a “good faith effort” to resolve the issue, or I would have the three perfectly good legs I mistakenly let the movers take with them and a matching replacement for the one they broke. That is what I still expect.

I personally delivered the leveling legs and was told that I needed to leave them with the receptionist in the front office.This was a demand made by the customer in his first complaint. I was not allowed to even inspect the file cabinets to verify if they would work. I am following customers directions and his own directions do not seem to be acceptable to him. It sounds like like he measured the legs and I will bring the other size of legs to his office and leave them with the receptionist. This will be the last effort this company will make to resolve this complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:Twelve pieces of our furniture had normal blemishing/marring that we would expect from a move. It is the 2 pieces with significant damage from the movers' negligence that we are addressing in our complaint. K&J'z response is what we've been hearing all along (which makes no sense to us): the check is coming but we don't know how much it is. Their website states: "We make sure that every moving customer is satisfied; you just leave the moving up to us. From beginning to end, we will handle your move with excellence and expertise every step of the way." We're still waiting for K&J'z to demonstrate this to us.

I am rejecting this response because: The situation has not changed.  I was told the leveling legs would be delivered to me as soon as possible over two months ago, on August 29th.  I will notify Revdex.com if and when comparable leveling legs arrive at my office.

Mr. [redacted] was told about all charges including trip charge. The trip charge is clearly written on the bill of lading which he signed prior to any work being done. This was reluctantly  removed when he openly threatened to write a negative review on certain websites. Unfortunately we are unable...

to receive messages on the number he was calling in on which is a mistake on our part. The leveling legs will be in route to him as soon as possible.
