Review: First of all I was referee by a friend to the dealership, and so I went by to look at a couple cars that I saw on [redacted] because they also have a page on [redacted]. I spoke to one of the owners about a 98 [redacted] and a 2005 [redacted] matrix, I really liked the matrix. At the time I only had 500.00 to put down on a car, and the male owner expressed to me that they would need a more substantial down payment so I let him know that I would be back that Sunday with 1000.00. At the time he told me the down payment on the matrix would be 1000.00 down and the total cost for the car was 3500.00 so I got a card from them let him know I would be back on Sunday and asked them if they were open on Sundays and he told me yes. So then Sunday morning I gave k and k auto a call and spoke to the male owner again and he told me to come by anytime after 12pm. Then I get to k and k auto at 12:30pm and no one is there. So I call the business number and the male owner tells me he just left had to take his kids home and now his girl the female owner named [redacted] is gone in the car so it would be about an hour before he would return, he asked me did I live close and I let him know that I live in the south area which is nowhere near the business. Then I call my friend who referee me and she is good friends with the female owner so she calls her cell and she tells my friend she is 38 mind away. My friend let's me know they are 38 mind away so I call my mechanic to check the car out before I buy it and he comes right away. He gets there by 12:50. So as we are waiting for someone to get to the dealership, I'm conversation with my mom and mechanic, then my friend arrives because she is there to pick up her plates, as she was told she could do by [redacted]. So 30 mind go by, an hour goes by, an hour and a half goes by [redacted] is no longer answering her phone and the business number is no longer being answered. It seems like the business line is a personal cell number which right away seems unprofessional to me. 2 hrs go by no show.Desired Settlement: I just want a review of their business practices investigated because I was also told by my friend that upon buying the [redacted] Accord she purchased the CV BOOT needed repair. To my understanding that is a safety item and should have been repaired be for the car was purchased. The dealership should not have sold my friend a car with safety issue repairs. How many more cars are they selling with safety issues. They should loose their license.

Response:

unfortunatly we are not open on Sunday's and this buyer was also advised she did not meet the down payment requirements for [redacted] financing. Sorry we were unable to help you good luck on your vehicle search.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:IDuring my and my mother's visit to the dealership my mother specifically asked were they opened on Sundays and was told yes, so I do not accept the lies that are being told because my ears and witness ears heard otherwise. If he would have told me that I wouldn't have wasted my time my mom's time and my mechanics time and money I had to spend on gas to travel to the dealership plus money I compensated my mechanic for taking the time out of his busy day to come per my request.

Review: I purchased a car in good faith from K&K Auto Sales on 4/12/2015 at approximately 3pm for Thirty Six Hundred dollars. By 4pm while my husband was test driving the car it overheated and would not start. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to reach K&K Auto for answers I began to suspect foul play. On 4/13/2015 the car was brought to a repair shop for diagnostics. Findings included burnt fan harness wires, a non operational cooling fan, blown head gasket, non operational brake light and non operational Horn. The shop also found evidence of block sealer in the head gasket. In their professional opinion, proof of a pre-existing mechanical malfunction and fraudulent activity. New estimates to repair damages (head gasket repair only) have inflated to Four Thousand dollars plus. The shop estimates there may be more underlying damage as evidenced by a replaced driver side door with non matching VIN tags, evidence of recent paint work on the outside body of the car, and large dents on side panels. They have recommended we NOT continue with repairs as the cost would far outweigh the value of the car. Other grievances include, not presented with a National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) report from an approved provider. I was not asked to sign an agreement to furnish insurance. I was given an incomplete contract cancellation option agreement. And the title of certificate has been improperly filled out.On a personal note I feel as though many corners have been cut concerning the car I purchased from K&K auto. That this vehicle should have been salvaged and left in the junkyard, as it poses a major safety hazard. I hope that by writing this complaint some other unsuspecting potential customer of K&K Auto will think long and hard before deciding to purchase with them.Desired Settlement: I hope to receive a refund of the purchase price of $3,600 plus the cost of taxes and fees to register the car with DMV and the cost to replace the missing license plate.
