K&L Leasing Reviews (39)

This consumer response was received by Revdex.com via email. It seems to me that it was the bank, not Enterprise, who demanded the change in my loan agreement, and came up with a way to make it "look right".I'm satisfied that they've kept the monthly payments at $163.91, and that is the amount on my original agreement

Ms [redacted] has not been a customer of ours since Our Risk Management Department has discussed the reason she cannot rent with us in and This matter has been closed for several years and our position will not change

We apologize for the confusion and delay Mr [redacted] experienced in attempting to get his credit card refunded for rental charges placed on his card beyond the extent of his actually use of a rental vehicle The Area Manager that oversees the Elyria branch has refunded $back to Mr ***'s credit card and left a voicemail message with Mr [redacted] to contact him directly should he want to discuss this further or have any additional questions

To whom it may concern: Please accept this correspondence as our response to the complaint filed by [redacted] ***We have reviewed the concerns raised by Mr***Mr [redacted] rented a Chevrolet Cruz from CLERAC, LLC dba Enterprise Rent-A-Car [redacted] Cleveland Heights, OH on 09/08/ At the time of rental, a vehicle inspection was completed in the presence of Mr [redacted] and it was determined to be rented without existing damageThis was confirmed by Mr [redacted] by him initialing on the face of the rental agreement as acknowledgement of the vehicle condition Mr [redacted] returned the rental vehicle to the same location on 09/14/Upon return and in Mr***’s, the rental vehicle was inspected by an Enterprise employeeDamage was found on the rear passenger side doorThis damage was not previously documented at time of rental and therefore, a change in vehicle condition report was initiated While Mr [redacted] may not be aware as to the cause of the damage, pursuant to section of the rental agreement executed by Mr***: "Renter accepts responsibility for damage to, loss or theft of, Vehicle, Optional Accessories or any part or accessory occurring during the Rental Period regardless of fault or negligence of Renter or any other person or act of God." Mr [redacted] was sent an invoice for the remaining amount of $Mr [redacted] already paid $at the branch ($in physical damage, $Administrative Fee, $Loss of Use and $Value Diminishment)We respectfully believe that the amount sought by Enterprise from Mr [redacted] is reasonable, appropriate and in accordance with his obligations under the terms of the rental agreementThis being the case we are also willing to waive the fees that associated with the claim at this timeThe remaining balance due for Mr [redacted] is $ Thank you for your consideration in this matterPlease contact the undersigned should you have any additional questions Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We appreciate Ms [redacted] bringing her concern to our attention We regret any inconvenience this issue has caused her and we have confirmed that the refund has now been processed accordingly We have relayed this information to Ms [redacted] and she has indicated that she views this matter as resolved to her satisfaction

We appreciate Ms [redacted] bringing her concern to our attention Our Area Rental Manager has discussed this matter with Ms [redacted] and she does understand that she as the renter is ultimately responsible for any charges for the rental vehicle that were not paid by the dealership that was repairing her vehicle. That being said, because there was clearly miscommunication regarding how much those charges would be we have decided to refund the entire amount Ms [redacted] was requesting in the interest of customer satisfaction. We appreciate Ms [redacted] ' business and hope that she would consider us for any future rental needs she may have

Our group truck manager confirmed with Ms [redacted] that she now has all the documentation she had requested

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused *** and ***. The Area Manager over the local branch has spoken with Mr*** and agreed to refund all funds paid regarding damages to the rental vehicle. We do hope this resolves his concern and that he
will come to Enterprise again for any future rental needs

We apologize for any inconvenience *** *** experienced while trying to get this resolved with our North Olmsted location. The Area Manager overseeing that location spoke with *** *** and refunded the $charge back to her card last week

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowthings very obvious which I mentioned earlier as well 1) When I returned the car, I was let go saying all good (which means they did inspect the vehicle - The vehicle need not be sent to *** Service to check if something wrong, if you just switch on car, you can see Check Engine Light Indicator flashing immdly).....but you can see from their note, that the "Check Engine Light" indicator was on during my entire rental - which is nothing but Malfunction indicator which I had mentioned to Enterprise multiple times (including the very next day after I rented) & also its mentioned in my note to Revdex.com team that it was there since the day one when I started renting - When I brought this to Enterprise attention, they said its warning for just oil replacement - So they asked me to go to firestone to replace OIL and they said once oil change done, the Malfunction indicator will go off) which did not go even after Firestone oil replacement - I mentioned this again to Enterprise , but they said Firestone might have forgotten to configure/turn offSummary : This is an issue that was there prior to my rental and I am just being victim just because I drove from milesIf I had put diesel, it should have had the issue during my rental which didnot happen at all

We apologize for any
inconvenience Ms*** has had in regards to the rental trucks. The
Group Truck Rental Manager has left two messages for Ms*** to discuss the
situation and hasn’t received a return call from her to resolve. Thanks,
*** ***Risk Supervisor

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused *** ***. upon further review of the claim, we have deemed *** *** not responsible and have closed the claim

We regret any inconvenience this incident has caused *** but because it is clear to us that the diesel fuel was added to the vehicle’s fuel system at some point during the course of ***’s rental, based on the terms and conditions of our rental agreement, he would be financially responsible for the damage caused by the fuel contamination

We thank Mr*** for bringing his concern to our attention. We apologize for any inconvenience Mr*** experienced The Area Manager managing the branch in Mentor attempted to contact Mr***, but the contact information provided appears to be invalid as he couldn't reach Mr
*** to discussWe have refunded the $that Mr*** has requested. We are not pursuing Mr*** for the damage as the damage in question is under our damage evaluator and is considered wear and tear We hope this resolves his concern

In response to Mr***’s rebuttal, we regret that he does not agree with our response to his complaint; however, our
position remains the same
Be believe that Mr***’s concern stems from his
misunderstanding of the damage estimate We are confident that the damage
estimate reflects only the damages that were addressed with Mr. *** and we
will have a member of our Damage Recover Unit contact Mr. *** to
thoroughly review the estimate with him and answer any remaining questions that
he may have

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We apologize for the miscommunication regarding surrogate drivers for customers with disabilities. It wasn't the surrogate driver that caused the denial for the rental, it was the fact that other rental
qualifications were not met to secure a rental from that branch. An area manager has spoken with Mr*** to resolve his concern and will assist him when his travel needs requires him to rent through our airport location
