I have met with [redacted] numerous times about final adjustments on his deckHis deck was inspected by local building inspector and passed final inspection and has was built properlyWhat [redacted] is not telling you is that he has tried this tactic with every trade that has worked on his houseHe forgot that he told me this and was also confirmed by his neighbor which I also built a deck for [redacted] likes to keep telling the contractor that there are items not done correctly so he can hopfully get money off of his bill I have contacted my attourney who in now handling the case and am very sorry that [redacted] is not happy with our servicesKlassic Decks works very hard to make sure our finished product is done correctly and that our customers are happySome customers are just looking for something for nothing and that is where I draw the lineI hope this situation can be handled in a timely manner and Klassic Decks can get there final payment for a job that is completed and looks great
I am rejecting this response because: Phil didn't address any of the issues that I brought upI contacted the company that sells the undercover ceiling-( Zip-up)The women I spoke with told me I should not have any bowing in my ceiling and it sound like the installer (Classic Deck) either didn't install the wall trim at the end of the paneling or installed it wrongThe wall trim piece help the water flow like a water fall effect so the water easily goes to the gutter and helps keeps the panels straight so they don't look bowed Water shouldn't be running between the gutter and the facial boardThere should only be a inch overhang from the ceiling over the gutterI have over three inchesThis is all on Zweb siteI have contacted The building dept in Columbus and waiting to get all of my information that I asked forI also had a contractor/architect look at my deck and he is evaluating the constructionThe architect did agree that the trim pieces on the post are crocked and should have been miteredThe center post is twisted one quarter inch off plumThe left post is also twist but not as badThe architect believes this is incorrectPhil forgot to mention that I had asked for post sleeves on all my posts like my neighbor, which he forgot and then he had to put wrap around sleeves on them instead since the deck was already connectedPhil agreed to a $deduction off my total bill since this isn't what I wanted but that was the best he could doI am working on getting two quotes from reputable contractors to fix what I feel is not correctI want to have a deck that I feel safe for my family and friends to sit on and enjoyI asked Phil to correct these issues or take something off my total billI don't feel I should have to pay for something that isn't in workman-like manner I have attached my pictures to show all these areas that I have concern over Thanks, [redacted]
