REGARDING: ID# *** MR*** *** INSTALLTHE ISLAND WAS CUT TO TEMPLATE DRAWING OF 37"DAN EXPLAINED THAT TO MAKE LARGER IT COULD BE A HAZARD DUE TO CABINET WITH DOORS UNDERNEATHTHE EDGE IS A 3/8"RADIUS NOT PENCILWE DO CUSTOM FABRICATION, NOT MACHINE CUTWE HAVE NEVER
HAD A CUSTOMER COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR EDGES BEING INCORRECTKLASSIC STONE PAID FOR A NEW GLASS TOP FOR STOVETHE EMPLOYEES DID SAY THEY DID NOT LAY ANYTHING ON THE STOVEIT WAS IN ANOTHER ROOMIN ORDER TO SOLVE DISPUTEWE PAID FOR NEW STOVE TOP. THE STOVE OPENING WAS OFF DUE TO CABINETFROM TEMPLATE TO INSTALL CABINET DID MOVEALTHOUGH THEY ARE OLDER CABINETS, THIS IS NOT THE NORM FOR THIS TO HAPPENWHEN GRANITE IS INSTALLED ON ITIF THEY ARE SECURED PROPERLY THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPENBECAUSE IT DID OCCUR THE OPENING WAS NOT SQUAREKLASSIC STONE OFFERED TOPAY A CONTRACTOR TO SECURE CABINET PROPERLY, REMOVE GRANITE AND REINSTALL COUNTERTOPTHE CHIPS CAN OCCUR AND GO UNNOTICED BY NAKED EYEWE OFFERED TO FIX THESE, BUT CUSTOMER WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO REPAIR THEM.KLASSIC STONE OFFERED TO FIX ALL OFTHE ABOVE PROBLEMS, EXCEPT FOR THE EDGEAGAIN WE HAVE FABRICATED EDGES FOR 12 YEARSTHIS IS OUR 3/8" RADIUS EDGE AND CANNOT BE CHANGED. WE PAID FOR THE SCRATCHED STOVE TOP AND OFFERED TO HAVE CABINET RE SECURED AND TOP INSTALLED. KLASSIC STONE HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS YEARSWE HAVE INSTALLED THOUSANDS OF TOPS. OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN SATISFIED.OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND CARINGWE WORK WITH HOTELS LIKE MARRIOTT AND HILTONOUR GRANITE INSTALLS AS WELL AS OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS MET THEIR STANDARDS UNFORTUNATELY MRLOGIUDICE IS NOT SATISFIEDWE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO REPAIR ANY MISTAKES AND PAY FOR STOVE TOP. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT THEY HAVE SUCH BITTER FEELINGSWE HAVE A LONG HISTORY IN THE GRANITE BUSINESS AND HAVE 1000'S OF HAPPY CUSTOMERSWE HAVE TRIED TO END THIS ON GOOD TERMS, BUT IT DID NOT HAPPEN.IF WE WERE UN-PROFESSIONAL, UNSKILLED AND INCAPABLE KLASSIC STONE WOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS

I reject Klassic Stone's response because it contains lies.1. The island Template had measurements of 1/4" and 1 1/4" noted on template to be added when granite was cut. Our old island was 36.5" wide. Dan assured us he would do this - he didn't. Now he states he was concerned with danger in the larger overhang, but gave us the larger overhang in the adjacent counter. (This is an L-shaped island). Why no danger there? Because in fact they messed up and are now lying.2. The edge represented in the showroom is not what we received!!! Why ask a customer to choose if you are not going to duplicate what they chose from?3. They denied putting tools on our stove even after there were 4 witnesses who saw them. Kim stated to me on the phone that they had problems with this in the past. Then, it was all denied, but said they would replace the top after I did the work to find out who to call, how to have it replaced and then place the order.4. The stove opening was not off due to anything. The new stove fit perfectly (see picture) with old counter. The new template was to MATCH the old counter. The counter they brought in was too large. They tried and tried to jam it in. Same then got out a tool and cut into our wall to showe it in. He couldn't. It was way too large to fit. They didn't remove the granit, take it to the shop 10 minutes away and cut it correctly. They jammed it in, causing our new stove to twist and loosened the cabinet on the other side of the stove. Whe we asked them to fix this, Dan had a fit saying we had to "sign off" on their actions! We asked why - we just want the new counter the same size as the old. Everything fit perfectly whe our old counter was installed by [redacted]'s kitchens. Klassic DID NOT, DID NOT, DID NO offer to bring in a contractor. They didn't even want to cut it themselves. The stress that day was tantamount. They DID NOT, DID NOT, DID NOT offer to bring in a contractor to secure our cabinet. More lies!5. When they came to repair the granite they were prepared to attack us on each thing they did wrong. WE were on trial. While they stated their lies. We were willing to overlook the island counter being cut the wrong size, the midified pencil edge instead of the rounded 3/8" edge, the ogee edge which isn't even a real ogee edge, but couldn't overlook the granite shoving our stove over because it was cut too large. Hours were wasted of our time while we had to endure them telling us our cabinet was unlevel! Our cabinet could go nowhere as it is fitted nest to a corner lazy Suzan. Oddly enough our cabinet wasn't unlevel with the old counter! Only after they tried to jam a too large piece of granite in an area smaller in size.6. Other reviewers have said they are scammers and con artists. We agree. When I casually mentioned to Kim that for ALL THE STRESS AND AGGREVATION we went through with them, after spending $6,000, we weren't even offered an apology for all the trouble and stress. She turned on me like an animal and screamed at me. WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED SUCH ILL TREATMENT FROM SOMEONE THE WE WERE PAYING HANDSOMELY TO DO WORK IN OUR HOUSE. 7. Bottom line, we wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
