July 31 st 2017 GSI General Inc entered in a
contract with Mr. Phillip [redacted] for the contract amount of $ 287,271.00. By
October 1 1, 2017 this project had signed change orders that increased the
Contract amount to $366,367.55.In November Mr. [redacted] requested an accounting of work
completed,...

an estimate from an approved plan for third floor addition and a
change order reflecting requested deletion of line items from his contract. It
was also requested that we not process a draw and it was made clear no change
orders would be signed but we were asked to continue working on the project.
These requests took time to completeAs of December 10th' 2017, GSI
satisfied the request with a full accounting of work and money spent, along
with a complete cost breakdown of requested city approved third floor plan,
along with these documents was a Lien waiver for $133,903.22 a list of draw
amounts with dates of reception of payments. A spread sheet that accounts for
$133,902.22 in draw 1 ($101,413.61) and draw 2 (32,489.61).GSI General was less than 60 days from our completion date in
a 180-day contract. that expires January 28, 2017 the contract states the draw
amounts in three separate amounts.Mr. [redacted] has been advised that there are multiple
unsigned change orders that was presented to him upon his request. These change
orders either increases or decrease the contract or in this situation reduces
the contract amount and scope. These documented change order presented to Mr.
[redacted] was open for his review, discussion and revision but ultimately a
signature to proceed.It was explained that until Mr. [redacted] signs these
change orders to reduce scope and price we are by contract to complete the
signed ordered work. Which GSI perceives to not be his attention.This situation may require a mediation
between GSI and Phillip [redacted]. GSI"S hope with a mediator involved can
show Mr. [redacted] that he agreed that any changes to the estimate must be signed
by Mr. [redacted] and GSI to be approved to be added or deleted from the contract
price and scope. With the mediator help GSI and Phillip [redacted] can continue
the contract with an signed change order request for an extension of time with
a new completion date and complete Mr. [redacted] home to his wishes.December 15 th 2017 about 10:30 am Mr.
[redacted] and GSI met again to try and resolve the issues with Contract price and
scope Mr. [redacted] request was for GSI to produce every receipt of purchases
made to date on his home.Mr. [redacted] explained that he wanted compare GSI line item
contract price for what was performed to what GSI production cost is so they
can further enhance their funds to reduce the cost of additional work
requested.GSI explained this is not an ethical practice
to produce GSI production cost of previously performed work so that the
consumer can recycle the difference back to their funds.If a mediation request is not acceptable and Phillip [redacted]
terminates GSI as the contractor on this project for this GSI would then
request an arbitrator to finalize a final payment of expected profit from the
signed contact work to include the signed change orders.
