It's an unfortunate fact of life people don't handle being told "no" wellOur business, like every other business, has to collect accounts payable and have to follow the guidelines set forth in the agreementThis agreement is in writing so there can be no misunderstanding. When requesting cancellation many are unreasonable when told "no" find ways to justify their anger They make unsubstantiated claims, tell outright lies and will say anything to avoid paying their debt. These claims seem to have added credibility because of the companies who try and extort business's for review monitoring We are unable to make those who don't want to pay their debt happy. We stand by the hundreds, if not thousands of satisfied and happy students whom had no problem with their bill Their actual (not anonymous or made up names) testimonials are available on our websiteStaffIndianapolis Martial Arts Club llc

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is the second time that this business has insinuated that I am not a real person with a real complaint. As if I would make all of this up for sport or to receive free money. This is not the truth. I am a real person with a real complaint concerning how I have been treated by this company. I do not retract my original complaint. I was, as are many others, pressured into signing a contract and though I have extremely reasonable cause: lack of transportation and medical restrictions, which I mentioned to Ray upon signing, they will not accommodate or even offer alternatives to a termination of my membership. This was my last attempt at justice. I beg you- please do not give up this cause due to the business's false claims about half-truths and an indebted person who cannot take "no" for an answer.

In March 2012 I started to build a house in Stockbridge. I hired KLC Construction to build my foundation, drainage and etc. I've known the owner for the last 10 years and I trust him. when we signed the contract for the job I asked him if this will be all because I did not want any surprises. He said no surprises or extra charges. When he installed the foundation drainage he did not use a laser to measure the level. I told him I thought the drainage was installed wrong. He told me not to worry and everything would be fine. When construction was complete after a heavy rain I had an inch of water in my basement. I called him he had to come back and fix this problem. He refused to come back. I also asked him to build a stone wall in front of my house. We agreed on $2,000 for the price. After he finished we recognized the wall was too close to the house. He agreed and moved the wall ten more feet from the house. He charged me $3,000 when we agreed for $2,000. Then he also built my drive way using my gravel form the digging the foundation. 85% material from the drive way was mine. he never gave me a price for this project. when I asked him he said not to worry the price will not be expensive. we never discussed the what kind of material he would use. when he finished he gave me a bill for $9,000. when I confronted him on why the bill was so high he said it was $5,000 for the drive way and the rest is what I owned him for the contract for the foundation. He said this will be the final bill. Before I paid him I asked a couple more contractors what for a drive way estimate, everyone of them told me it would be arod $4,500. I still agreed and paid him. he worked for me for two more days to finish the job and did not finish due to weather complications but told me he would be back next spring to level the gravel and top soil around me house. he told me I did not need top soil on top of the gravel so he took it away. I had a big pile top soil, around eight to ten dump trucks worth, my estimate worth $2,000 and he took it away. the last day he worked I was around all day working inside the house. when I finished he was gone. I found sitting in my car another bill for $5,500.I called him to ask what it was about and he said I owned him that kind of money. I told him he must be out of his mind. he told me the $9,000 bill was just for the drive way only and I still owed him money. this guy is a crook and he basically tried to rip me off. Next year in the spring I hired another contractor to finish the job which KLC never finished. This cost me $2,000. He also never finished the basement floor in the house. he was suppose to cut a small trench to prevent the floor from cracking. The garage floor is finished badly. One spot of the floor is higher than the rest of the floor. I pointed this problem out a couple of times and asked him to fix it. His answer was I paid [redacted] money so he did a [redacted] job. Now I am not surprised why after 20 years of business he changed his company name this must be the reason.[redacted]Desired SettlementStop charge meBusiness Response This case is slated for court in March. Mr [redacted] failed to pay the final payment due on his contract. He acted as a General Contractor on building his house and we were the sub-contractor, which makes this a job site issue. This case will be settled in court. I will forward a copy of this to our attorney.
