Review: I went to this diamond dealer to get an idea of a current value of my 1.24 carat VS1, G color diamond engagement ring and the owner cheated me. I had an independent appraisal for $10,000 for it from 2000, and I later found the European Gemological Laboratory (EGL) certificate for it. The owner Eran told me "it wasn't a Vs1 and not G color and said "it wasn't worth much" after he taken the diamond off the prongs and he told me "the previous appraisal wasn't any good" and "nobody else would want it". Anyway,long story short... He said he was willing to give me $1,600 and at that point I did not know where my stone was and what it was worth. After he swindled my diamond and flipped it in a few hours after I left his store I found out that it was worth $11,284 that day trade value from another jeweler. So I called him back and asked for my ring and stone back, but Eran said he had "already sold it". Recently I found the EGL lab certificate for it and it again says that my stone was VS1 and G color. Thus, Eran lied to take advantage of me.Desired Settlement: I want my 1.24 carat G color, VS1 Diamond and prongs back or I want fair compensation.
