understand your complaint and apologize for our mistake and any inconvenience it caused. At Thornton & Grooms, we have multiple priority levels we categorize each job into to help us during busy times of the year. One benefit of our plan is priority service over non-plan members. We also offer priority service to anyone who is in a situation where damage could be caused to the home - heavily leaking pipes,sewage backing up into the house, no heat in below freezing temps, etc. Sometime, if there are enough high priority situations on the schedule, we do need to reschedule other appointments. While we try to alert customers of a reschedule as soon as possible, sometimes things fall through the cracks. We again apologize for this and we do hope to make it right with you. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12538258, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:The referenced $516 refund was just a cancellation of our extended warranty not a recognition of the overcharging of the actual install and pricing of the water heater   They are still not recognizing the gross overcharging of this service call and product
