Elaine is a client of NACA which is a lending company which hired Kleidermode to replace exiting laminate countertops in her condo with granite countertops The real estate agent that sold Elaine the condo measured the countertops and sent the dimensions to Kleidermode to generate a cost
estimateKleidermode measured Elaine's project Nov at that time additional material was needed to complete the job After final material selection, final edge selection, and final field measurements the cost of the job increased a change order was emailed to Elaine in December and she declined to accept the change order and asked for a return of her deposit We issued a check to NACA minus job costs to date in January the check never was received by NACA We issued another check to NACA they returned the check stating they can not accept the check because they are not the issuing party and it was to be sent to *** ** *** We sent the reimbursement check to them in June but have not heard from Elaine or NACA since then If any of the documents are needed I will be happy to provide a copy for you. I am writing to clarify my rejection of the explanation from Jeremy [redacted], [redacted] Kleidermode, which he sent to you 8/16/2017.NACA - Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America -  is not a lender, they are a nonprofit advocacy organization. My mortgager is [redacted], and they are the lender. I purchased the condominium with an added escrow amount for rehabilitation. It is from the rehab escrow account that the $4000 materials draw check was issued by [redacted] to Kleidermode LLC. I hired Kleidermode myself, and the contract dated August 11, 2016, is signed by myself and Jeremy [redacted]. It includes the scope of work which was removal and disposal of existing counters and replacement with granite in the kitchen and two bathrooms. Jeremy cashed my $4000 materials draw check and never placed the order for the granite for my project. This defines Theft By Contractor. Jeremy received specific email instruction from Roxanna Varela of NACA, on June 28, 2017, stating they returned the partial check which he had sent, back to him, and that he was to speak with me directly to resolve the matter as they are not a party to the agreement and can not accept his check. I have a home inspection report from a licensed WI Home Inspector verifying 0% work completed and no granite on site. The resolution of this matter is for Jeremy [redacted]/Kleidermode to reimburse to me the $4000 materials check.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
